For a while the immigration service was catching and releasing "family units" as they entered the US in violation of law. Now when a family unit is apprehended they are all held for removal proceedings from the US. Agree or is this wrong? The reason family units were getting released was because the lack of detention space for them. I understand that lots of psuedo family units were coming in cause an infant/child =ed a free ticket to the interior of the US.

It's the best thing the immigration service has done in the last 10 years. If your caught trying to illegally enter the US. The US should accomodate those law breakers with plane or boat ride back to their country.

My heart breaks for the families..
but they are coming here illegally, they should be deported.
Providing them with enough space so they can be together is an excellent idea.
I wonder what the world would be like, if we all realized we're from the same planet..and were allowed to move about freely. Still respecting laws as such, but rather than being a country, we became a world.
We all worked together, rather than the way we do now. We all cared for one another.. etc.

How come we have to have a visa and paper work if we want to go to Mexico fox is fuc**d and all the people who are here illegally can bite me in h*ll and the Dem's and republicans are both to blame for allowing this to happen no one gives a dam* about our sovereignty least of all all the wet backs from a third would country in the toilet, fu** them all ! I agree with this policy of detaining them ALL together until they can be deported. "Catch and Release" is NOT a good idea, ever!

I think it's fine. I'm glad we put together some places where they can be held together, but I certainly think we can't have 'catch and release'.

Deport them immediately or hold them until deportation can be arranged. They don't have any business here.
