jimmy carter said friday that the bush admin screwed up with NK because he "isolated" them. jimmy thinks we should have 1 on 1 talks with NK, which actually lowers the US and gives NK a higher position. he wanted this AFTER kim jong il expressed regret for the testing. I bet the dems were screaming "appeasement! appeasement! give 'em what they want!". what jimmy carter's problem, is he just afraid to hurt anyone's feelings? he was actually promoting a policy that has failed many times, while bush's at least got him to express regret in front onf the world, if its worth anything. awww poor kim jong il! i bet carter would kiss his hand and "take one" for the dems!

They won't even release my personal items that are in my car without buying MY car back. IT'S MY CAR!!!! Anything I can do, or should I wait till the theif gets outta jail in WY and have him steal it back and drive it to me?

If the smoking bans hurt your buisness and your income you should expect compensation from the taxpayers that voted for the bans. Keep good records of sales before the ban and after the ban because tobacco IS a legal drug and needed by many to cope with the non-smokers.

my soon to be ex-husband was convicted for 1st degree burglary and sentanced to 15 years. He claims he "just" broke into a house and took a wallet then used the credit card - 15 years seem harsh for that. My research shows 1st degree burglary involves a weapon and intent to harm. Does anyone out there know what makes a burglary 1st degree and not 2nd or 3rd degree?

My friend's car was stolen in Texas 14 months ago insurance was filed and paid off the value which left her to pay th balance. She was upside down. The car was recovered maybe 7 months ago and the police had it towed to her house. She contacted the insurance company and they have yet to come and get their car. Everyone tells her to replace the interior and have it repaired as it looks as though it would only take a few thousand dollars to restore it to its previous condition. Obviously that would be pointless since she no longer possesses legal title to the car.

She knows it is not her car, but is there anything she can file to "inherit" the car since the insurance co has abonded it?

If employed are harshly punished, illegals would not come here & the ones who are here, would leave, in no time cuz no one would risk hiring them. You cut the head of the snake & not the tale ! SIMPLE !!! ISN'T IT !!!
