pulls me over. it is 11pm and he says he pulled me over for a cracked windshield (minor crack, not visible at night from any distance). he asked for id, which was in my wallet under the seat. he would not let me get it out, made me get out of the car, then searched it. he found drugs under the seat (which could have been mine, or the 2 female passengers in my car). long story short, got drug charges for possession and sales. he let the 2 girls go and arrested me. i have been to court 4 times for postponments. my lawyer filed a motion to dismiss, but the DA keeps postponing it. what is he trying to do? there are pictures proving the crack was not visible, and i think it is harassment or discrimination. what do you think? i am a man in central california with previous DUI's and a prison record for same. {This is what happened to a friend of mine} and I am curious what you think is going on. thanx for your input.

By pointing the finger at the "axis of evil". George Bush diverted the danger of nuclear blunder, or the prospect of WW3 started by the USA. But why should american ppls believe in him?? and not afraid of the possibility that the USA will be "The most dangerous country on this planet"???. Look at it this way. The most dangerous and blunder country can not be some hungry communist countries or poor Islam countries, (look at the history of wars). But "The most dangerous country on the planet" must be a rich powerful, arrogant, greedy, lies and ignored the UN laws and ignored the world communities concerns for wars. The world should see that the oppression of poor countries by the world dictator is already started. And try to stop him before it is too late. The USA had use the media giant to spread lies propaganda, and scare tactics about other poor countries, and used bullshit pretext for war. Think about it the rich guys always oppressed the poor guys not the other way. That's why $1 you earned your boss earned $100.

During the past 6 years, we have not been able to accomplish anything important and beneficial. This country has experienced one debacle after another: a failed Iraq policy, runaway debt, stagnant wages, the list goes on. The only way to hold this unaccountable president accountable is to take back control of the House or Senate or both. In less than 30 days if the people of this country vote and put Democrats back in control of Congress, we would have committee chairman that could launch investigations and examine policies with the full authority of Congress. Minority members do not have this power now. They can not control what bills are considered, how long committees debate them, whether bills get reported out onto the floor, or whether a vote gets scheduled. All these decisions are made by the Republican leadership of both the House and the Senate.

How does working for lower wages and getting paid under the table support our economy? How does this help out our society? Please dont give me that bull about doing jobs that we don't want. I have cleaned hotel rooms and worked 12 hour shifts in hot sweaty warehouses in the past and there are no jobs that people don't want. Give some real answers and not excuses to allow illegals.

Do you think that it is fair for people to be detained without a trail? Is that in the constitution? How can people as young as 13 be detained? If they are suspects in dealing with terrorism don't they have a right to a lawyer and a trail etc...The U.S doesn't even have proof that they are terrorists, so are all these so called terrorists detained if they are ASSUMED to be involved? Are they actually chosen because of their nationality and religion? Imagine you were detained without trail and because you seem to be a terrorist i.e your race and religion? Why isn't anyone putting a stop to this outrage?
Isn't this inhumane????

My parents never got involved in anything. When I became aware how important voting is, I began voting. I have never been able to vote for a party. How can you vote one party when some are dishonest and are not able to tell what they will do to sovle issues? Instead, these politicians just bash his openant and cuts down the openants positions and acts in office. How can you vote for one party?

I had the A4856.FRO file, but deleted it from my computer, thinking that I'd never need it again (I have the Microsoft Word version, now). My wife already has here SS# and all that. The question I have is my 2 step children do not have any documentation as far as citizenship and visas go. They dont even have a passport. They just came with there mother and the approval of there father. Am I able to fill out a W-7 form for them with out having any documentation on them yet. I was not able to list them on my taxes last year and I know I missed out on a lot of money. Is there anyway that I can file them under me.

Stopped by state trooper for speeding. I knew I was speeding, he knew I was speeding, so I'm not contesting that fact.

My question is that when he pulled me over, (in excess of 15 miles over the posted limit) he told me that he was going to let me go with a warning, and to slow down.

With that warning he still gave me the ticket for speeding. However, he didn't require me to sign the ticket which states that I would appear in court.

I have been issued tickets before and was ALWAYS made to sign them (or be taken in to the magistrate for failing sign).

I don't want to delay getting a traffic attourney, but I don't want to call the court clerk and possibly bring up something that is better off forgotten.

Any advice, suggestions, or ever been in this predicument (of not signing a ticket that is).
