I would classify them as mercs, look if they dont want to wake up and READ and LEARN that they are being used as pawns for an illegal, unethical war thats their agenda. the war is not for oil.. Its a NWO agenda, learn

First of all, we are not "taking over" Iraq. The control will be given right back to the ELECTED Iraqi government as soon as they can handle it.
Oh, and you do realize that Iraqis are working WITH our soldiers, right?
Second, in EVERY war innocent civilians are killed. There's even a term for it: Collateral damage.
However, most of the civilians that have been killed in Iraq were NOT killed by American or British soldiers. They were killed by the insurgents, who (surprise surprise) AREN'T FROM IRAQ.
Third, MY HUSBAND is not just a "hired killer." He'll kill if he has to, but it's not what he wants to do. It's not what ANY of our friends dream of doing.
He, like most other soldiers, simply wanted to serve his country.
From the way your question was worded, that's a million times better than you.
AND how do YOU know the war is for oil? Do you have proof of this?
No war is "ethical", and how is it illegal? Congress gave a declaration of war, and APPROVED use of force. So explain to me how it's illegal.

Everyday civilians have been killed in every war. You are ignorant and shouldnt be asking this question if you didnt know this already. If you did, you should realize that there are people who will dedicate their lives to killing off all of America, yes, even the peace loving liberals, where there is no contest to who will die! If we were taking over Iraqs oil, I would say you have a point, but did you know that we get NOOOO extra savings for oil in the war in Iraq??? So dont tell me its about oil! Who attacked, bombed or invaded, Serbia, Haiti, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosavo Without Congressional or UN approval. And Bosnia and Somalia with Congressional and UN approval. Not to mention . In no way should the men in the military be blamed for what the evil doers make them do. They believe they are fighting for America. They have been trained not to question. Many of them are very young and will do anything they are told.
Blame the Republicans. They are the evil doers that doesn't care about people. Cher had to provide the U.S. soldiers the proper helmets. The Republicans spent the money on oil company tax breaks and corporate welfare.
This corporate welfare is something Bush learned when his Daddy bailed him out of all his failed companies. Bush Boy thinks that's how business is done.

No, I don't believe that. I'm confident the vast majority of people in the military are good people and will risk their own lives to protect civilians. There are a few bad apples like in all other groups.

"Hired killers" is just another term for "mercenary". A mercenary is a soldier who fights or engages in warfare primarily for private gain, usually with little regard for ideological, national, or political considerations.
American soldiers do not fit the description of mercenary even by a little.
