This is in NY, Suffolk County. The tennant took residence on the 15th. Originally the check cleared, but then a hold was put on it and it bounced. The tennant has no lease and we're now concerned that we'll need to evict and find a new tenant, but understand that it can be difficult. What is the procedure if that is the case?

Since it's basically apparently possible to buy/steal/ sneak your way into our country, should they just pull the plug on ALL immigration stuff for about 10 years until it gets figured out effectively?

Only about a quarter of Americans say the scandal over former Rep. Mark Foley will be "extremely important" in how they vote in November's congressional elections, according to a CNN poll released Tuesday.

That figure falls far below issues such as Iraq, terrorism and the economy

Twenty percent said they were angry over how lawmakers handled the Foley matter, while 57 percent said they were dissatisfied and 19 percent said they were satisfied.
But the latest survey finds more support for House Speaker Dennis Hastert in the wake of the controversy.

Pelosi .....better not start the decorating plans for a new office just yet...

I had no baby sitter and Bush sends all our money to the war in iran so the state won't pay for one for me, so i didn't have any stamps left to trade to my neighbor so I had to take the kid to work with me at the flashlight factory. Why is it neglect to leave him in the car? I checked on him during 1 of my 3 smoking breaks, the other 2 I smoked and drank soda.

I've seen the argument raised on this site that the odds of my being picked up and sent to Guantanimo are extremely slim so I shouldn't worry about it. It's the price we have to pay for security. My question isn't so much about what my odds, or yours, or any individual's are of being "disappeared". My question is: Should any one person have the power to randomly take anyone else away for any reason or no reason with no accountability or oversight. If Bush wanted to take you away (even if the odds are a billion to one) what could stop him? Does this not bother you?

I listen to him everyday. In my opinion, he's finally lost it. He's attempting to sell us on the idea that we have to vote for Republicans, or else Nancy Pelosi will be Speaker of the House. Sorry, but I don't like the 'fear card' he's playing. To me, he's dishonest and disingenuous. Nice try Hannity, but I'm not buying it, and neither are other Republicans who are quite capable of seeing through all the BS, and are able to think for themselves. Go sell your message to someone else.
