I had no baby sitter and Bush sends all our money to the war in iran so the state won't pay for one for me, so i didn't have any stamps left to trade to my neighbor so I had to take the kid to work with me at the flashlight factory. Why is it neglect to leave him in the car? I checked on him during 1 of my 3 smoking breaks, the other 2 I smoked and drank soda.

Is this really a serious question? It sounds almost bogus to me.
That said, let's see, you left your kid in a car for 6-8 hours, only checking on him during your smoking breaks? Yes, I agree with the state, you neglected your child.
Perhaps instead of spending your limited money on cigarettes, you should save it to be able to pay for a baby sitter. I can sympathize with you being a working mother and all, but I wonder how hard up you really are if you can have access to a computer with internet access?
Here's something constructive, why not start a babysitting pool with the other mothers in your factory? You can trade off time sitting for other people's children on your days off, in return for their sitting your child when you are working.
Of course, as a smoker, I wouldn't necessarily want you anywhere near a child when you are doing that.

Well, of course I feel sorry for your child, at first the having to take him to work was not neglect, until you said that you left him in the "kid" as you put it in the car.
By the way that you called your child "kid", and that you are stupid enough to admit that you smoked and drank soda the other two breaks then it seems to me that two things could be possible.
1) you made this up to see how upset you make some people who have children and respect them, or
2) you are a heartless person that does not deserve the child you have.

Bush can send our money where ever the hell he wants...it's the price you pay for living in a free country...why don't you pack it up and go live in a mud hut somewhere if you think it sucks so bad here...Not only that...but maybe if you quit pissing your money away on smokes...you'll have enough for the baby sitter.
Do your kids a favor....send them back to the state.
God helps them that helps themselves...it's not the government's fault that you apparently don't have any good sense in your head, can't properly care for your children and have a tendency and continuing desire to take advantage of state aid....That's all you.

unfortnatly, yes it was/uis neglect.
you decided to keep your child and therefore need to raise him/her properly. give up the smokes and quite expecting the government to take care of your life and life choices and get a clue.
