I live in an apartment complex that is seriously overcrowded, 2 bedroom apartments with 10-12 poeple living in them, I know this is against some kind of law, does anyone know who I can complain to? This is in Franklin County Ohio. Management knows of the problem and condones it, this is unhealthy. I am sure that many are illegal, there is trash everywhere, water bills are getting really expensive and now some people are getting cockroaches, it is unsafe and I want something done about it, but I don't know who to contact to do something about it. Does anyone out there know what I can do? I still have 10 months left on my lease so, I cant move at the moment.

Hi there,

I am a New Zealander currently in the UK on a Working Holiday visa and I plan to marry my girlfriend who is a German national and is is also living here with me. We are planning to have the wedding in the USA at the end of November.

Will I be able to apply for a 'Husbands, wives and partners' visa after we are married? And, if so, what is the best way for us to begin preparing for this?

Thanks in advance.

I feel so distraught of US/Canadian relations. Never have both Governments been in such agreement while their respective people's are at odds. Canadians tend to be very observant of all politics and its clearly evident (to me anyway), how my neighbors to the South are being deceived by their media. I'm not professing to be any better; we have our problems in Canada as well.

As a Canadian who has MANY American relatives, I'm really sadden to see the state of Affairs in both our countries, both Political and social. The relationship between both nations has never been sadder and although your President has taken a liking to our new Prime Minister, it does not weight well with the general population. His ministry is suffering a drop in polls because of it, and the Soft Wood Lumber deal hasn't helped him either.

Both nations need to start taking notice of the sad state of affairs, both within and out their borders. We need better people in office!

What do you think?

Who's Giving the Taliban and Sunni's all their weapons and Anmo? As the USA knows this stuff is not cheap and I don't think they have 5 years worth of weapons and Anmo stockpiled. We have to know who's doing this and IF so why haven't we gone after those countries

I was just recently a carpentry student at E.C.T.C. and everything was goin fine until my instructor had to leave for throat surgery. and after that, things just just stared going down hill. They got this substitute in there that really isn’t a teacher and he isn't qualified to be teaching carpentry or teaching at all. He doesn’t even have one year of teaching or carpentry under his belt. His real job is working at Kroger’s. I started to fall way behind, so I just decided it would be best to withdrawal from the classes instead of getting a F or an I for Incomplete so I wouldn’t be put on academic probation but they told me that I couldn’t get any kind of refund. Do you think I should try to work something out, or just get a lawyer? I’m not a sue happy person at all and I’d like to keep this out of court but I feel like I was cheated and this seems to me like a case of theft by deception. Can anyone give me some legal advise?

In march my wife wrote 4 checks for cash (payable left blank) to her former employer that he promised he would hold. She called in sick one day and he took her off the schedule and cashed one of the checks.Since then we have moved and found out that a)he tried to cash all of them and screwed up our checking account even though we were on a payment plan to pay them off b)the company is soon to be bought out by another company. My questions about this are many.1)once the company changes names, will we still be held liable for them?2)was it legal what he did, taking her off the schedule and cashing them?My wife was also afraid to file for unemployment for fear he would cash them3)would it be with our right to contact a lawyer about this matter?4)if so, who could we contact for low cost or free representation? The checks are dated March of this year.We live in Texas.
