A fence. It'll stop most, and those that do come in will probably only keep our produce prices down.
Chavez is stupid. I mean, calling Bush the Devil is too far. I think Bush is an idiot, but he's nothing close to satan. Chavez is insulting Satanists' deity all over the world.

I believe that there is not one solution to the problem. I am not talking about the "comprehensive" immigration bill that Congress proposed this year. In their world amnesty is the same as comprehensive.
You build the wall, you use the electronic surveillance, you higher and train more agents.
Not I would add one more thing to the mix, I would treat the people and companies who knowingly hire illegals exactly the same as drug dealers. The plant manager goes to jail as well as top executives. I would also confiscate their property just like the drug dealers. I am sure that when the first food plant that gets confiscated and a few excecs go to prison the illegal issue will go away over night.
The jobs will be there for Americans and it will be harder for the terrorists to hide among them.
If after that we find that we do need the workers; we can have a program, inviting in the people we want.

We need to stop the reason for illegals to sneak over the
border by the thousands....and that would be for Americans
to quit giving them jobs. Then they would have no reason to
risk their lives to get here. Fences and National Guard would
suffice for deterants of terrorists and drug smugglers.

Venezuala(?) is pissed at us for good reason. We tried t topple them more than a few times. they even offered us gas for damn near free after katrina so that our fuel prices would stablize and ol George told them to go get ***ed. how do we secure the border? land mines, guns, fence and a huge DMZ zone that spans about 4 miles across olong the entire border. it seems like a real prick thing to say right now, but I'll bet once the first biohazard is let off in the united states because of that border more people will be thinking of it as their idea.

Just tonight on the news Chavez is embracing Iran. CNN reported Hezbollah terrorists have entered our country though the Mexican Boarder.
Analyst have been saying all along Mexico is going to get in bed with Iran, if they haven't already.
We have 12 million "Sleeper Cells" in America called illegal aliens. Just look how they act, just like the terrorist that hate America.
We need a 2,100 mile fence 30 ft high with razor wire on the top and armed guards to greet trespassers.

1.) Electrified fencing
2.) Use of drones with advanced monitoring technology
3.) Use of land mines (no Im not kidding)
4.) Better funding of Border Patrol
5.) Military assistance
6.) Stiff penalties for those who employ illegal aliens
7.) Stiff penalties for those who rent housing to illegal aliens
8.) Stiff penalties for those who assist illegal aliens

We need to put an armed military across our borders. Also implement ground sonar to detect tunnels and we need to blow up all tunnels we find.
The military on our borders shouldn't be just eye-candy either. They should be armed and fire warning shots, no matter if it's men, women or children. If they don't stop after warning shots are fired then they need to be dropped like a bad habit. Those who are arrested for violating our borders should be put in a remote prison and fed rice and beans with water... that's it. No vacation prisons either.

Electric fences with barbed wire at the top. Border patrol that ARE allowed to fire upon people trying to cross the border. Right now, border patrol are not allowed to fire upon illegal crossings, even if the people are firing at them.

What about our northern boarder? Just because the venezualan president was critical of the U.S. dosen't make him a terrorist. If any thing it means he's brave and the he can THINK. I wish bush had just one of those qualitys.
