No I'm not kidding.

This was just on the Liberal Media

Consider the source. Because Republicans are compelled by some inner neocon impulse (Satan?) to charge Democrats with wanting to cut and run in Iraq, they then have to lie about the situation on the ground in order to make any statement that can be perceived as supporting some kind of withdrawal of American forces. Basically, he's saying that it's okay to get the hell out of Iraq now because things are going pretty good there. Sounds like it's about time to start blaming the media again for only reporting the bad stuff.

I wouldn't believe anything Santorum says. He was the one trying to say that finding some 10 year old canisters in the desert justified the claim that there Saddam was developing WMD. Iraq is far from secure, but we're going to have to let them take care of themselves sometime. Remember how much time, lives, and $$$ we wasted in Vietnam.
I get it. You're trying to be ironic about the Clinton thing. That is what you hear from a lot of Republicans who want to blame all their failures on Clinton.

Perhaps Mr. Santorum should put on uniform and go to Iraq and see what is like to put your life on the line. October has become one mostly deadly months of fighting since war began. Show your true colors Senator.

I would like to point out, that Clinton is no longer in office. I think he was a schmuck and a loser, but he is gone, and now we have another schmuch and loser in the office.

We just lost 9 soldiers this morning is a suicide bombing attack...how secure does that sound? Secure to me, is the thought that I could walk down the street safely without a weapon. We have soldiers walking down the street WITH weapons and they are not safe.

Are you joking, Iraq is ten times worse than when Saddam was in power. When the US and British troops leave (they are being forced out) they will leave behind them the biggest terrorist state of them all. George W Bush, Dick Cheney and Tony Blair should all be prosecuted as war criminals.

Rick Santorum wants us to work till Death. I wouldn't trust him any further than I could toss him and I probably couldn't get him off the ground. He's currently trailing in the polls.

Believe it or not, I agree with him.

The Iraqis have a 300,000 man military force, and have partial control already. They have a strong police, and good social order.

The Iraqis are very smart, and can govern their nation better than the USA can.

Well 11 troops have died in the last 2 days so that doesn't sound very secure to me.

No...it's ridiculous to believe that they can handle their own security at this point... maybe another 5 years or so...
