We the People are Supposed to rule everything. However, as a democracy we elect people to do so for us. In a perfect world the elected official would check with his consituents to find out what the majority of the people want. Then he would use the majority decision to go back and vote for the people. Not everyone gets what they want that way.....but at least the majority would. Now, that was in a perfect world. In reality, the person elected is usually some affluent person from an unconnected neighborhood who basically appeals to a majority of the very small percentage of people that actually go out and vote. After those people vote for him/her the politician goes off and votes for whatever agenda is lining his pockets through lobbyist. So I guess you could say that Corporate America rules us.

On paper, no one rules Americans since we have the power to change who is in office. In the real world, the peoples' vote counts for nothing. It's the electoral college vote that decides who is President. Look at the 2000 election for any kind of proof.
So it's more of an oligarchy that decides who should be put in power, which leads me to wonder if the position of the President is nothing more than a puppet for others in the upper echelons of the oligarchy to control.

We the people are supposed to, but King George still makes the laws and they say he can do whatever he wants. "The People" just a bunch of nobodies 'cause their not him. Sorry, don't know Peter 2:17.

We the People of the United States Rules the World! We're alright but if you think about it we do bow down to pressure from other countries...oh wait...no we don't we go about doing whatever we want....so maybe our military made up of our people rule everything. Sadly, God doesn't get as must respect as our founders gave Him....folks seem to let Him pass by as quickly as they do television channels when flipping through them

none, the government and big corporation run the country, they even work together to make decisions, based on money, benefits, and gifts from lobbyists.
