Look closely at the Supreme Couty decision Bush v. Gore. In this decision, decided in just a few days as oppossed to the usual months Supreme Court decissions take, the court ruled that any more recounts would violate the Equal Protection clause Bush was arguing for. This stopped all recounts, leaving Bush on top. However, Gore recieved more votes from the American population. It was with the stopping of the recount that sent the Electoral College into a vote and bypassed all popular votes. In the end, did Bush himself cheat his way into the White House? Its debatable. Did Bush get into the White House unfairly? Absolutly.

You act like the election process is fair! lol, Bush got in by the same means as every president thats ever been in office. the first election was a shame and I wish it would have went the other way. The second election was a matter of dumb and dumber. Think about it, how did john kerry get a chance? the republicans put him in that position, thats how. If anyone good would have ran, Bush would be out of office.
You asked if I think Bush cheated his way into office. my answer is simple, no more than any other president ever has.

the hard thing about proving lies and cheating is just that.It is so damn hard to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.Take this 9/11 controversy for example.I read the entire 9/11 commission report and "the new pearl harbour " by Griffin.Like the florida and Ohio elections ,the evidence is overwhelming yet it is never accepted as proof enough.
In any case it amazes me that the elections were as close as they were to begin with, cheating or not.
But to answer your question, yes I think he cheated

I do not know what cheating is in Politics and doubt G.W.Bush does either.
He is a fine example of one who thinks Americans ,are not smart enough to catch his lies , so he continues on. He got into office that way but as Ignorant as those who voted for him was they were just a little slow they have smarted up now a little.

I see what we have hear is a clear understanding of our political system. That's right were not a republic were a democracy. Sucks Gore didn't get in, he has such a strong personality and would have really held this country together after 9/11. A strong and powerful man such as that would have done wonders, thank you.

Despite whether we approve or disapprove of whomever is in office it is still President, and it has been proven that he did win the first time as well as the second. We have every opportunity to take the Republicans out of office but if you don't vote you have missed your chance, so those that don't shouldn't complain, complain with a ballot.

I do...if the election hadn't been "decided" by the Supreme Court, we wouldn't be responsible for the scores of dead men and women in our armed services over the past years. I dread the next two years. I pray we survive.
