Father God who represents all the people not just Republicans, hear our prayer. Let the people take back the government to put restraints on George W. Bush. Let the Democrats win many house and senate seats to send the message that the people have had enough lies and cheating in government. We as this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Ghost, world without end AMEN.

Ok, little background on me here. I am fifteen ,and I live in a small town in Tennessee. My dad is a lawyer here, however, he doesn't like to discuss politics. I do not keep up to date on politics, but I do know two big issues that face the government are gay marriage and abortion. I am aware there is separation of church and state. I am also aware that this rule does not include forbidding religion making it's way into the government. (That's a different story however.) My question is not what you, the reader, thinks of these two issues! My question is, does it not seem like hindering either of these acts would interfear with someone's beliefs? I am not getting technical with this question, I want to hear a variaty of answers.

My parked car was hit by a minor. Her parents told me that they will not fix my car unless I go to a specific place of their choice. I told them it is not their decision b/c their daughter is the one who hit me. Her mother tryed to take over the conversation and I stood my ground and told her that this is their responsibility. She turned around and told her husband I was abrasive toward her(which I wasn't, I was stern), and he told me not to call the house anymore and he will call me if the estimate is satisfactory to him. I haven't heard back from these people and I am afraid if I call they will press charges against me for harassment. I am not trying to argue w/ anyone I just want my car fixed! Do I call the police and let them take care of it?

from strapping on a bomb vest and walking into a cafe and causing mayhem?

hasn't America had enough? Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Korea, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Iran, numerous African nations, Afghanistan and now Iraq?

are there any Americans out there who actually feel shame or guilt for having the blood of so many Iraqi men, women and children on their hands? for being guilty of creating the mess Iraq is in today?

the Americans I know are good people. So what causes the sons and daughters of these good people to join a military that oppresses and occupies in the name of freedom and democracy?

How can you bring freedom to a country by occupying it?

Have any well though-out answers instead of the usual "go back to where you came from!"?

It doesn't make any sense. They always talk about how we are fighting for freedom but then they take all of ours away. Are they all just hypocritical idiots?

RIP Gerry Studds, for pioneering shameless homosexual pedophilia with Congressional pages, claiming it was consensual and never feeling shame about it, it appears to have set a tone for colleagues on both sides of the aisle.

I feel suprise because there are a lot of questions and answers about Vietnam, my country. But I feel sad because I recorgnized that most of them are about Vietnam War.
Even I don't agree with most of your points about the war, I do see that most of you against war and for peace, that concrete my belief of life and humanity.
But my question is why Vietnam War is still a topic for the public, students, and of course veterans in the US theseday? I'm not sure that how much the American talk about it ? and why? because i recorgnize here in yahoo answers, there are pretty much question about Vietnam but sadly most of them are about war.
or is it because the Iraq war is now ongoing so make people refer to Vietnam war in the past?
It surprises me because we don't talk about it much nowadays. and the young vietnamese consider that topic at school is such a boring topic (i hope it is the same feeling in American youth) and almost nothing in public beside ceremonies by gov.

Yesterday me and my husband were sitted in the lounge when we had this loud knock. I asked my husband if he was expecting anyone ie his friends and he said no. We then began to wonder who the person might be and my husband went on the door to ask who the person was and there was no reply. My hus then went in the kitchen to look through the window which faces our front garden and there was noone. My hubby then went outside to ask neighbours if they had also heard the knock and they said no.I then followd outside and realised an egg had been thrown on our front door. We are very quite and do no speak to anyone around this area except neighbours. We are guttered and we also have a child. Its a council estate we live in but very quite during the day and have never seen yobs around hanging. We are now so scared it can happen again. Reported incident to police but cannot do much as it is first incident. Any suggestions of what we can do and some reasons why this egg might have been thrown

Illegals should not be here, but with them gone, the crime rate won't go down much. It's time we seek other alternatives in the prevention of crime. We should not make Racial profiling illegal, since most crimes that are commited are usually Blacks or Hispanics. Maybe create a system that when a Black or Hispanic teen turns 14, he is on provation or a monitoring system. I don't want my country going to sh.it, getting rid of illegals won't do the trick alone.
