yes, (i.e. John McCain) but nobody really likes them or votes for them, because in Politics, no one really wants to believe that there is a middle road, shades of gray, things like that. Joe Lieberman was a Democrat who was Pro-War, and he was out of the running before he could blink. There will always be moderates, but i doubt any of them would get voted President.

When there is conservative Democrats they are run out of there party such as Lieberman. There are to many liberal Republicans and they are destroying this country as there counter parts in the Dem side.

Depends what you mean by 'Liberal'.
There are 'moderates' who are closer to the democrats, generally.
there are also those who are more socially liberal, but economically very republican. Think Steve Forbes, for example.
