from strapping on a bomb vest and walking into a cafe and causing mayhem?

hasn't America had enough? Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Korea, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Iran, numerous African nations, Afghanistan and now Iraq?

are there any Americans out there who actually feel shame or guilt for having the blood of so many Iraqi men, women and children on their hands? for being guilty of creating the mess Iraq is in today?

the Americans I know are good people. So what causes the sons and daughters of these good people to join a military that oppresses and occupies in the name of freedom and democracy?

How can you bring freedom to a country by occupying it?

Have any well though-out answers instead of the usual "go back to where you came from!"?

some good answers. rest are just reactions of weak individuals: personal attacks.

go back to my country? which country is that? If you don't like a straight-shooter, YOU get out.

concerned about my image? what image is that?

America is TRYING to perfect bombs?? so that it kills the intended target with probably 10 other 'collateral damages'?

America has lost yet another war and now you're blaming the Iraqis for the mess you put their country in?

All I hear is arrogance talk. How about you try some common sense?

655,000 Iraqi have died, many by those vest that you describe. But many were killed from those bombs that came from above. That is just wrong as our reasons for going into Iraq was wrong. Our young join the military primarily because the economy is so bad in this country, it is the only job that they can find. But understand it is our government that is doing this to Iraq. These people that join the service are following orders. That is their job. More and more Americans do not think the war is right and want our troops to come home where they belong and for them to protect us. We have an election coming up next month that may show our concern for the direction our country is going in, I feel that stay the course is no longer an option, if enough people feel like me then things will change. Hope this helps.

That million dollar bomb is not directed at innocent civilians, and we have tried to perfect it to be guided to legitimate targets: unlike the suicide bombers who intentionally kill innocent civilians so they can get to heaven and 72 virgins.
Also, it is not Americans who are causing the problems in Iraq. It is those same religious nuts who want to kill each other. A country full of religious nuts sent some of their nuts to blow up buildings. We did not go to them.
Regardless of the kind of answers you asked for, you really seem to hate your country and should consider leaving it.
You seem more concerned w/ your image than the welfare of your country.

i am not an american but i remember the day september 11 2001 quit vividly i sat in front of my tv and cried for what seemed like an eternity , i wanted to be an american that day and i was so driven in my hatred to what i saw on tv that i would have joined any branch of her milatery and take the fight to those who did that dispicable act on a bunch of innocent people . i am sure muslims and member of many religous diety died that day .I feel no shame or guilt and i pray that those brave soldiers kill those extremist were they breed them so that they do not bring the fight to me. you may say that they only go after western interest and would never mess with small third world countries but i have come to see that were ever western interest are you have no problem destroying it even if it means taking out the innocents with it. so i say to you no i am not american but me and my country men support what they are doing and if the need ever came and AMERICA the great fell short of fighting men she would have one in me to strike at the islamist facist were ever he may be found yes i believe in taking the fight to them before thet come to you.

There is no point in answering you. Truly. You are set on the fact that Americans are these war mongering beasts that violate rules and kill innocent people. You keep your point of view because I am not going to waste my time on someone who already has their mind made up.

There is no difference Million Dollar Bomb or $2 Pistol.
Dead is Dead. Period.
We'll keep our bombs if you keep your vests.
