My ex-husband is an excellent father, he pays me support privately, no need for the district attorney. But when I was on welfare, and the divorce was fresh, we did go thru them, and they slapped him with arrears which he hasn't paid much of. Is this going to affect him being able to renew his green card? He has been trying to renew with no result, and my fear is that it is because of his back support. Anyone know about that? I'm in California by the way, in case that matters

This November I think like 5 states are going to vote on whether or not to ban gay marriage and civil unions. My question is why.
Why do we need to vote on the rights of a whole group of people? Shouldn't this just be automatic?
Canada did not have a vote on gay marriage. They realized that thier constitution gave equal rights to all citizens and that was enough for them to say that homosexuals had the right to marry as well.
How come in the United States we need to get the approval of the majority to give homosexuals their equal rights?

How come you will pass calculas 3 with no problem and make an A but cant calculate a basket of goods at the grocery store? How will you pass 2 classes of psychology at college level but you're dumbfounded when porn has ruined your marriage? How can you read so much in one day and absorb everything you read but forget to put oil in your car until your motor blows up? And last but not least you can program a computer but you can't cook an egg, why is that?? And no im not talking about myself, haha!!

there are three types of citizens of afghanistan, it consist of uzbeks, farsiban, pushtoon( taliban ). is it fair for america to kill one type of citizens? isnt it like the blacks case in africa? what do you think if in europe people start killing the black people and leave the white? please search for taliban in wikepedia and you will find a good article about the existence of taliban. media is telling u a lie, please wakeup.

Would NATO forces in Afghanistan have the right to pursue Taliban forces they were actively engaged with across the Pakistani border? I'm not saying that would necessarily be a desirable situation, I'm just asking where international law stands on this.

Since i worked with coullition forces in Iraq and everybody try to kill me and my family.I moved manytimes to other houses but everytime thy know my new address,so i left Iraq and located in Egypt,and i have all the recommendations from USA army units.Please help me out with this cause i cant stay in jobless and i have a family to feed.

Hi i am looking for legal advice on labor law?
i joined a software comp, B'lore on 9 Mar 2005 with 6 month of probabtion period. i was living in delhi so posted at client site in a company in Greater Noida. i took leave from 9-Jun-05 to 31-Jul-05, because of critical condition of early stage of pregnancy. company paid me for that duration, without any prior intimation of any recovery. i completed my probabtion period on 9-sep-05. but didn't receive the confirmation letter till the day i left the company i.e. on 21-Oct-2005. the main reason was hectic schedule of the work and travelling (25km) one way. and by that time i was pregnant by 7 months. after completing the exit interview and other formaliites they gave me provisional relieving letter. now after repeatedly asking they told me final settlement of 1.28lakh including the payment during 9-Jun-05 to 31-Jul-05. please advice is it legal to ask for such recovery. what my right in this.

I've heard people say it's more of a dicatorship with some capitalism. I know true communism cannot work because of natural human greed, so why is the People's Republic of China still Communist? What aspects of it's Government and Society is communist?
Also, what is the Communist Party of China? Does China have a one-party system? Can people that aren't members of this party vote? Can any Chinese citizen be part of the party?
