Hi i am looking for legal advice on labor law?
i joined a software comp, B'lore on 9 Mar 2005 with 6 month of probabtion period. i was living in delhi so posted at client site in a company in Greater Noida. i took leave from 9-Jun-05 to 31-Jul-05, because of critical condition of early stage of pregnancy. company paid me for that duration, without any prior intimation of any recovery. i completed my probabtion period on 9-sep-05. but didn't receive the confirmation letter till the day i left the company i.e. on 21-Oct-2005. the main reason was hectic schedule of the work and travelling (25km) one way. and by that time i was pregnant by 7 months. after completing the exit interview and other formaliites they gave me provisional relieving letter. now after repeatedly asking they told me final settlement of 1.28lakh including the payment during 9-Jun-05 to 31-Jul-05. please advice is it legal to ask for such recovery. what my right in this.
