I'm a legal immigrant. Looking for a good service or institute which helping immigrant get use to life in USA no matter cultural or in language....
Do you know any references? (web, book, institute, community....)

I especially don't understand American humor...........so hard...

The US invades Iraq based on bad WMD intelligence and Iraq’s refusal to comply with UN resolutions. No significant WMD’s are found, Iraq turns into a mess kills thousands and costs billions with no end in sight. I would be pissed.

So where does the President keep the heads of those responsible for such a blunder or did they just get a pass?

Is anyone willing to solidly come out against Islam when it:
1. Threatens death to French Editorialists?
2. Kills Theo Van Gogh?
3. Kills a nun in retaliation for a Pope's historical speech?
4. Riots and kills over cartoons?
5. Stops a German play due to death threats?

At what point should we say that Islam is not compatible with Western though if moderate muslims refuse to speak out against these violations of free speech?

I have a friend who joined the army right after graduation. He wrote to me telling me the base he was at was on red alert because things were getting bad over at Iraq. I haven't heard from him since then and i'm just wondering if maybe things realy are going bad in Iraq? What if he...got wounded? =(

Is it just to keep the republicans as the majority in the house and the Senate? Do you know how they got the slaves to build the pyramids for them in Egypt? They took away everything they had, and barely gave them enougo to survive, then they would give them scraps every now and then and the slaves learned to be grateful for those scraps, is that what's happening?

for those who gave answer, you all sound silly. First of all when, it is called a chit, not proffile. Secondly, even a pre-exsiting condition has to be evaluated prior to enlistment. And to seek compensation is a benefit that I' m entitled to. I didn't ask for anyone to pass judgement, just answer my question. thank you. Also, if you've never served, you are not able to answer. I've got some very rude answers, and they all border on personal attacks. I'm a vietnam vet and I served in the navy.
