I'm a legal immigrant. Looking for a good service or institute which helping immigrant get use to life in USA no matter cultural or in language....
Do you know any references? (web, book, institute, community....)
I especially don't understand American humor...........so hard...
My husband always watch comedy channal and I'm like a boring wife...(can't laugh....) Neither understand redneck's stuff....what the..?

Yours is an excellent question --unfortunately it has not one but many answers. Number one don't feel bad in not understanding so called American humor -- all humor pertaining to different cultures is a bit complex and complicated at first. and you make no exception to the rule. There is however "some inter-national humor" and with time you will laugh at those that make fun...back to your immigrant status --whether legal or not it will not make any difference in your laughing at humor -- you can try however. Leave your husband alone -- to laugh -- if he does not have time to translate or explain the sense of humor he feels etc. we do not know anything about him and you don't have to be him to be you! as for books and articles -- there are plenty --just go to the local library and look up the words : humor, jokes, comedy etc. and read, read and read more. Eventually you will hear the jokes but whether or not you will laugh is another matter.

Janet holds immigrants in high regards. She even knows cousins that married, how much illegals stink, thinks Mexico is a shithole and of course can tell the difference when it comes to a Mexican American and an Illegal. Lets not forget she thinks congress should wipe their *** with the constitution.
Now tell me, all this hatred can't possibly make her biased?

If you are legal than the best resource I can point you toward to see American humor is the DNC website. Read through some of that and you will begin to realize why we laugh at liberals so much.
