Because he is hiding in a devoutly Muslim area of northern Pakistan. It is possible to 'find' him if we were to send in a large military force - but we would have to kill all those people in the process. Not worth it.

In Islam, if one gives an offer of shelter and protection to another, it is a sacred duty to defend that person with your life. Even Saddam Hussein enjoyed that protection until someone sold him out for the huge cash reward.

Because Bush has finally decided once again that Bin Laden is of importance. Why he clearly stated that Bin Laden is "not the first priority in the War on Terror" is beyond me...
Maybe Bush was referring to the mess he created in Iraq as being "the first priority". I don't know.
Here, look at this Fox News (yes, even Fox News reported it) report about how Bush said Bin Laden is "not a big deal".

Not scared. He is a millionare and has lots of friends that are hiding him. Slowly that list of friends is dwindling and soon he will show his face and I will be right there to say hello. The United States is forced into having to rely on undependable countries to search for him as they can't just invade any country without cause. Diplomacy is the weapon being used to find him and as we all know, diplomacy is slow and is not cost effective.

I think it's a catch 22 situation. He is in the tribal area's of Pakistan. If we go in and get him we destablize a government with nuclear weapons. If the Dictator in Pakistan goes and gets him he looks like an American stooge.

I would not say nobody can find him, just the right person has not been sent to find him. A good bloodhound, a little scent, a good tracker------yea he could be found!

Osama is believed to be hiding in Pakistan where U.S. troops are not allowed to go. Also the area where he is hiding he is considered a hero so they would fight to the death over him.

most likely...he is buried in a secret location. the guy has been sick for a looong time, and life on the run in caves isn't exactly beneficial to his health. my bet...he died of typhoid or something like they say and is six feet under.
