If Christians walked onto crowded busses and blew themselves up, crashed planes into buildings and attempted to overthrow governments in order to establish theocracies, maybe then people would appologize to them.

Answer number one -- not all people bash J and C! It is your interpretation. Number two -- in today's' world it is very hard to be always "politically correct" --in fact a good number of us --want to be the opposite. Don't ask for any logic or reasons. There is none that I know of. I guess the freedom to think and act different plays a great part. Now re. your second part of the same question -- Moslem's, riot, apology -- I am sure they don't fit always together -- it just happens that we had and we still have some "bad apples out there that state they represent such and such ideology or religion. I am sure they don't speak for the majority -- they speak for themselves -- while their echo goes a long way. Hope you got the message.

Christians have been persecuted for 2000 years. Look what Christ went through, and He lived a perfect life. But as Christians we know that Almighty God is in control and His plan will be worked out.
Christians have enjoyed freedom to worship our Lord and Saviour in the United States. The signs of the time are upon us and we could very well lose that freedom. I do not fear because Christ is with me always

I believe people are not bashing Jesus and Christianity. They are bashing fanaticism. The true Christians love their fellow people and don't try to force their beliefs onto others. Fanaticism, in any form, is what causes all the problems. If one does not adhere to a certain sects philosophy of what Jesus said and did, then fanatics go on a rant. It is the fanatics who give Christianity a bad name. If they read the Bible, I believe there would be many people who would need to refocus their beliefs onto His teachings and learn love and charity.

I'm sure you are right that there is some bashing going on and that is unfortunate. But I think there is some concerns in moderate circles about some of the religious extremism that exists not just in Islamic circles but Christian ones as well.
I certainly believe the two are different, but extremism in any religion is always a little concerning.

The people who bash Jesus and Christianity are usually misinformed of his teachings and are easily convinced that what he stood for is not considered to be cool so they mock him when they were probably the same ones who were praying to him right after 9/11!

People just seem to like to "bash" in general. It's a sad state of our society today. But don't worry....there's still lots of nice, open-minded people out there who don't feel the need to be critical of everything they don't understand. Just ignore the jerks :)

Disrespect for others beliefs, and hypocrisy.
Personally i don't like it when people who try to force their beliefs upon me, but i do respect their faith so long as they do not force me to think the same. Bashing others religions and killing other people just cause they do not think the same way is messed up though.

Christians have warped the teachings of Jesus and turned them into instruments of hatred.
