If I just lost a family law case and I found out that the opposing attorney is the godfather to the child of one of the senior partners at my own attorney's firm....do I have any basis to appeal on that alone? Isn't that some type of conflict of interest?

Another question asked IF the US were divided into the USSA (United Socialist States of America) and Jesus Land where would I be?

Why did the Democrats get Red and the Republicans get Blue? Shouldn't it be the other way around? After all the Democrats foster many more socialist ideas than Republicans and Socialist countries before the fall of the wall had flags with large quantities of Red on them.

And conservatives are always compared to the blue bloods and old money.

So shouldn't the colors be switched?

It is easy to reason it out as 'they are just jealous' but aren't there many other rich countries those are prosperous like Japan...and nobody hates them ! Is it because we act as a 'global policeman' ?

is it legal for a company boss to with hold holiday pay and also not pay me for the hours worked he said i was paid up but the company week stars on wednesday i worked that day but he says ive been paid I know I havent as there was no money in the bank today (Friday 29 09) also he said he was holding my holiday pay till christmas Have I a case to take him to a solicitors

If everyone who says we should give up some civil liberties (fourth amendment, wiretapping bill) for freedom and safety, will you give up your right to bear arms when/if the government says:
