The big Corporations need undocumented immigrants, but they don't want to give them Civil Rights!

It's usually medium to small companies that hire them. It has nothing to do with being fat dumb or lazy. It's all economics, they save money and don't care what American's think.

I come from an area of NY state that is huge on farming. The employees that are hired to harvest the crops there are legal but do come from Mexico every year. They live in what looks like a shed with 5 or 6 other family members and work for minimum wage, not pennies. Now, these jobs are listed at the State Employment Services office every year and the Mexican workers get to come back because no one wants the jobs. These men and women are proud to work for that $5.75 per hour and they DO work harder than Americans. YES, we are lazy to some extent and would rather collect the unemployment check than go into the field and pick onions or apples.
I for one enjoy my fresh fruits and veggies and am glad there is someone local to harvest them so I don't have to wait for old stuff that has been shifted around in the back of a truck for 3 weeks while it got to me.
I have worked in restaurants and see how Latino and Mexicans work in a kitchen. They work hard and take pride in what they do, no matter what it is.
Of course these are documented employees and they have to be paid fairly, but the fact is Americans DON'T want these jobs.

Legal US citizens aren't too lazy, or dumb, or fat, or cool to do the jobs that illegals do. The problem is that the legal citizens of this country will not do the jobs for pay that is under the federal minimum wage, and because of the illegals willingness to do that, they are taking jobs away from American citizens that actually need it.
There is no reason to give OUR rights to someone that invades our country. They gave up the chance to have civil rights when they decided to not come into my country the legal way. I guess you just don't get it that they are BREAKING THE LAW. Do you know how much illegals cost tax payers? BILLIONS. Did you know that hospitals are having to close because so many illegals go to them for free health care? Do you know how many of them freeload off of our welfare system? Did you know that the amount of taxes that some of the illegals do pay don't even equal out to a fourth of what they cost us? Get your facts before opening your mouth. They do not help our economy, they are breaking it. Have you ever been to a rally of theirs? They desecrate our flag while waiving theirs, instead of assimilating into our culture and learning our language, they are demanding that we learn THEIR language, and give them everything on a silver platter. And at all the rallies, the majority of them hate anyone that isn't of their nationality, so why should we accept them? You tell me why. Lets hear your argument.

I agree with Sway_ii, illegals wouldn't have a case in coming to US if there weren't many greedy corporations so eager to hire them for pennies. Why hire an american or a legal immigrant (there are many) and pay them fair market wages and insurance when they can get a cheap laborer who can't claim nothing? More money for their pockets and their big CEO's salaries. People deserve better salaries, nobody can live on minimum wages, it's up to the citizens to force our government to improve working conditions. It's a lot easier to blame the immigrants for coming here than to look at the whole picture. America is a country that have depended on immigrants since its origins (irish, italians, english, mexicans) there are many positive things that each culture brings when coming over, we should embrace those differences instead of attacking pleople with racist remarks or shallow statements.

The only thing business cares about is it's bottom line. Immigrants drive down wages in a big way. It isn't americans that won't do the jobs. It's that the employers won't pay a decent wage for those jobs. I wonder why those employers won't pay up hmmm!? Could it be they don't have to if some illegal will do the job for slave wages. How long before we all end up being paid chinese wages .30 cents an hour anybody?

I dont think all illegals get less wages than legal workers. My job pays the same to all. When they came and took the illegals out , legal workers got the jobs. Just stay home if you cant come here legally. I dont want to have to pay for the cost of giving you a ride back.

No Corporations need illegal immigrants. Don't try and justify illegal immigration. If corporations actually paid wages that people could live on, then more LEGAL immigrants/Citizens would do those kind of jobs.

Undocumented Mexican- what precisely are they unable to document? Their identity, their immigration status or more suitable than likely both. unlawful extraterrestrial beings are wealthier than U.S. electorate on welfare , wow that's some thing to be pleased with. i'd say if those Mexicans were to get documented, they could do a touch extra perfect than evaluating themselves with welfare recipients. i guess, if no one else will toot their horn, you gotta do it.

Yes, absolutely. And too intelligent. If you have a couple million people who feel they are not good enough to get paid well for what is in their brain rather than how much they can pick, cook or carry, then maybe they deserve to do menial labor. If doing it better and faster than Americans makes them happy and proud, then great, that will insure they stay in "their place" without anyone having to keep them there.
They can be better, faster peasants and we can be fat, lazy rich people. Everybody happy, deal?

No, it's just that illegals can do the job for pennies on the dollar and then "send" what is chump change back to May-hee-Ko and live like kings on the 5000X1 markup or what-ever it is now....Hell, Americans might do the same thing if it were the other way around, but it's not because we're lazy......We just can't do the job for the low price YOU ILLEGALS do it for...That's all.
