I've always understood that he and his hatred killed 14 million people. of which, 6 million were Jews, the remaining 8 million were made up of people in the countries he invaded and anyone he or his henchmen felt like getting rid of or experimenting on until they were dead.

It is generally agreed by historians that Hitler killed more than 6million Jews. He killed a similar number of handicapped, Catholic, Gypsies, homosexuals, and such. Of course you could justifiably claim that Hitler was responsible for the combat deaths in Europe during WWII something like 30million.

Some 5 million Russians died in the Eastern Front war.
Some 3 million of his own soldiers died in the Eastern Front.
Some 6 million Jews died in CANCENTRATION camps.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
14 million, including the Jews who died at the hand of Hitlers hatred.
I know I'm missing something. So, try Googling it. The 3 & 5 numbers are guesses, because my memory is no good now.

There are no exact numbers. High estimates are at around 6,000,000 Jews and perhaps as many as 11,000,000 in total.
