I don't know- but I like the quote.
There is certainly a tremendous amount of evidence that supports the conjecture.
Carter- yes. I read his book from last year. A brilliant, religious and kind man- certainly blasts the current administration for much of its wrongdoing in the world.
Bill Clinton- has been remarkably low key in attacking Bush and I am truly impressed at his restraint. However- he does respond when attacked (good for him).
Hillary: She's an active politician now... in every sense of the word. Attack and being attacked is the way of life.

The USA is in a war they cannot win and there are serious problems that are being ignored on the home front.
I am afraid the USA is bleeding and no one cares to patch the wound and stop the bleeding
