Pakistan was used by the Americans to fight against the Russians during the Cold war in Afghanistan (Osama bin Laden - a creation of US, also financed, armed and equipped). US then assisted Pakistan and used the country and then military dictator as a conduit.
All Islamic terrorist activity since the last 15 to 20 years (including 9/11) has some connection/roots in Pakistan be it for training or finance or military hardware support or a safe sanctuary can be traced to Pakistan.
Today the US and NATO troops are suffering for this error and continue to suffer until Pakistan and its terrorist infrastructure is dismantled and the people of Pakistan become free of Dictators and Fundamentalists alike.
The million dollar question is When Will The US Wake Up to this reality ????
