It’s a misnomer to call Bush a modern day Hitler. In fact, the conservative’s refusal to do this is probably the most honest act you will see from them. Bush cannot be a modern day Hitler, because in order to be a modern day Hitler you must have some talent for speaking and you should have some strategic military sense. Bush is devoid of both qualities.

What the hell are you TALKing about? When haev they ever said that they want to eradicate the Middle East? I can understand if you want to argue that Bush is in it for oil or whatever.....but I don't think he's there to eliminate the Arabs. Why would there be so many efforts to get a democracy set up over there if they just want to exterminate them?

As for comparing him to Hitler, that is just about the most ignorant thing you could have said. Bush may have further motives or he may just be misled....but he is not the evil man that Hitler was. Just because you don't like some of that Bush has done does not make him Hitler. Hitler openly said that all Jews, handicapped, blacks, Muslims, etc needed to be eradicated...basically just leaving wholesome white Christians. He had over 6 million Jews killed, and millions of other demographics killed as well...totalling more than 11 million people killed.
Calling Bush (who I doubt is even intelligent enough to be even in the same league) the new Hitler is just plain stupidity.

Perhaps you should wake up my friend. You obviously do not know where the power behind that Wimp lies.
There are two factions that are causing all the chaos in this world. They called themselves Religious leaders and wield far too much power for people who are hypothetically concerned with an afterlife.

You know who the are as well as I do. The Pope is merely a Figurehead as is Bush. Bush does what he is told and he does not do it well. He should have taken some acting classes before accepting the nomination.

How dare you compare him with Hitler. Hitler was a Soldier in WWI, He in fact was a leader who could sway millions of people with his speeches. Bush, could not sway a feather.

I don't agree with anything that Hitler did, but no one can deny that he was a leader. Personally I am for Individualism and Self Reliance. Two things that are almost dead now.

I don't think he compares to Hitler. If Hitler was alive and president, and would have been attacked like we did on 9-11, There would be no N. Korea,
or Middle East. He would have seized all the oil and made it U.S. territory years ago. He would have eliminated anyone and everyone that opposed.

They ARE awake. That's the problem.

But in all seriousness . . . Hitler exterminated some 6,000,000 people, not counting legitimate war casualties. The civilian death toll in Iraq, at the moment is estimated at around 50,000, and that is probably a high estimate. It doesn't justify Bush at all, and his presidency has certainly been a blood-bath in terms of both human life and liberty, but he's no Hitler. A mini-Hitler, maybe.

You know what, I'm really sick of this ridiculous hateful bashing. I have liked and disliked presidents, but it doesn't even matter. When you do ridiculous things like compare Bush to Hitler, you lose your audience. You can think of him as stupid, as a liar, whatever, but You actually diminish the legacy of Hitler, and make him seem less than he was by using this comparison. Hitler was a maniacal, evil murderer who killed millions upon millions of people. You need to find a better way to express yourself. Our country is just lucky that they are free to even make such sick statements. You may hate the president, but the very title of his office, requires a measure of respect.

I agree totally. Bush is the closest thing to a dictator this country has ever had. C'mon - detaining people with no charges, wiretapping, check on what books we've checked out of the library or what we have searched for on the internet, taking us into a war based on lies . . . the list goes on. He even reclassified documents that had been unclassified and public domain for years. How does he justify all of this? He doesn't. He just deflects the questions and talks about terror, terror, terror. He is the real terrorist!

The majority of states who voted for Bush have an average IQ lower than Bush's 91!

I think a lot follow him because they vote their pocketbook and George has been very, very good to the wealthy!!

Zombie, we killed 1/2 million children under 5 in Iraq by starving them to death!

Bush isn't done yet, and Hitler had no nukes!

Wow, you are crazy.

Exterminate Arabs? Like Jordanians, Egyptians, people of Kuwait, UAE, Saudis, Yemenis? The US is killing whoever shows up in Iraq. We aren't going to their countries and killing anyone. If the US wanted to just kill Arabs we could launch an missile and hit each Arab capital city.

No one will take you seriously if you exaggerate to the point of fiction.

The US should kill those violent people who travel to Iraq to fight. It is a war. That is what war is.
