The attack in Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad, came as a new poll by the State Department and independent researchers indicated a strong majority of Iraqis want U.S.-led military forces to withdraw immediately from the country. The poll, obtained by The Washington Post, showed, for example, that nearly three-quarters of Baghdad residents would feel safer if the U.S. and other foreign forces left Iraq with 65 percent favoring an immediate pullout. About six in 10 Iraqis say they approve of attacks on U.S.-led forces, and slightly more than that want their government to ask U.S. troops to leave within a year, according to a poll in that country.Almost four in five Iraqis say the U.S. military force in Iraq provokes more violence than it prevents.
This just seems to me to be senseless we are there if they do not want us to be. Is Bush hiding reasons we are there? What do you think? My husband is there, his 3rd tour in Iraq,do you think they will get to come home soon?
