Point is...for all of the Dee De Dee's...pro illegals have no argument that immigrants are allowed because EVERYONE that lives in the US is an immigrant. Example:
I am not an immigrant because I was born here.
Please people...stop saying "We are all immigrants." We are not.

I've never immigrated to a damn place except within my own country-the U.S. of A. You need to live in 2006 and get over the past and think about the future because it is looking bleak if things do not change soon.
The immigrants of the past had respect for their new country. They were an entirely different breed than these a**clowns that are coming here now and flying their flags over ours and demanding rights (what rights??), welfare, health care, and education. AND they are taking jobs Americans want, that saying (they're doing jobs Americans don't want) is propaganda put out by ethnic lobbyists trying to drum up sympathy for their cause.

I know that I'm not an immigrant. Have you ever noticed that the people who insist that we are also insist that anchor babies are citizens? I think they should make up their minds before stating an opinion. This must come under the heading of special priveleges for illegals.
I am part Native American, but even if I were not I still would not be an immigrant. Unless we are going to redefine this word to mean whatever illegals want it to mean. Much like the word racist.

Correct. Immigrants came here from another country. Either before there were laws on immigration or later LEGALLY through Ellis Island. Their children are NOT immigrants, they are natural born citizens of the USA.

Immigration isn't the issue, mass diaspora is, but at least the "we're all immigrants" folks are compassionate (not the brightest at debate, though).
When MY ancestors immigrated here, they all lived in different parts of town, and they called each other WOPs, Kikes, Mc's, Savages and Krauts -- but somehow they managed to make me just fine, because I'm all of those things. I guess I'm not really more scared about civilization's "imminent collapse" over cultural diffusion than I am about civilization's imminent collapse over fossil fuel depletion.

No one has a problem with immigrants. The problem is with illegal immigrants. And the American Indians were not immigrants.

And your point is...........................???????????? I believe the argument is legal and illegal....................NOT who is the immigrant that migrated!!! I'm not being mean, But what facts????
And about the born in America idea....if you are here illegally, then your children were born here because you broke the law...so that set of rules would NOT apply to you! You should NEVER be rewarded for conteplating, and executing a plan to break the law,so you can obtain something...while others struggle to keep that same law, because they realize what it means to become an American...not just trying to sneek in to prosper!!!
