Yes, I've heard about that; the leaders of the three countries want to create something like the European Union. Its pretty scary.

Unfortunately, you are attributing Bush's plan to the outline drawn up by a LEFT of CENTER organization. And unfortunately, or fortunately, the House leadership is strictly and unquestionably positioned against any open borders policy (as is the majority of the voting public).

After the May demonstrations across the US, voters woke up to the fact that without secure borders, quality of life and national security would suffer immensely. It's why the Senate couldn't pass a comprehensive immigration bill, it's why they're mum on it now, it's why Bush agreed to sign legislation for the 700 mile wall on the southern border and it's why Republican House candidates are rebounding in polls since May.

The comprehensive immigration bill is essentially dead, as is any American inclination to open labor and trade markets even further to Canadian and Mexican participants. Mexico is on the verge of revolution, and the US government will be in lame-duck status starting the 2nd week of November....none of this will come to fruition.

gerald, it is a wait ans see proposition, but I am not about to put it past them. I have snooped this one out, there looks like there could be some plans in the worked to pull the three countries together like the EU. Had to tell yet. So far it is just NAFTA and some mutual defense, and security, agreements.

NAFTA was Bush 41's baby, Clinton was just around when it was put in. This is not from the left. It is right out of the Bush agenda.

Look out your window. There might be a black helicopter hovering over your house.
