Why is it difficult, if not impossible, to use The Federalist Papers as a means of deciding questions of law? If The Federalist Papers cannot be used for legal interpretation, why do students of American government continue to study them today? In other words, explain why the papers are important to the study of American government. What did you learn from about the relationship between philosophical principles underlying the American regime and legal rules applied in specific cases? Explain.
This question comes from a Political Science Club, its more of a critical thinking question. In your responses, I would like for it to be more than paragraph of expression.
Thanks, Good Luck!

I can't believe all that has gone on during the time Bush has been president and he has taken on that huge task one by one and done a great job, a job that not many would be able to do or would want to do because you can't please everyone all the time. Can anyone think of a presdent that has gone through such tragic disasters and terrorist events in the USA?

In 1975 the US flew out of a burning Saigon with 7,000 Vietnamese and Americans being emergency evacted. This following the "Baby Lift" in which thousands of infants and children were evacuated from the path of the North Vietnamese Army. Following this retreat tens of thousands were rounded up and either summerily put to death or placed in consentration camps to be "re-educated" a process including torture, forced confestions, pledges of allegiance to the Communist government and killings.
In Lebanon, when the US pulled out of Beruit a civil war within the Lebanese Army and over 10 years of terror attacks, Syrian artillery strikes on West Beruit. Several thousand Lebanese civilians died on all sides. And in the wake of the "Black Hawk Down" incident US peackeapers left Somalia. Resulting in starvation, massacres of entire citys, cultural cleansing, thousands of people die up to today. It's pretty obvious what would happen if the US gave up on 20 million people, yet some still advocate

I have asked questions like why don't republicans want to pay taxes to pay for the war & why do republicans and the christian coalition hate america.

I have gotten several good responces from people who I would disagree with.

For example I was told not to associate republicans & certain christians with real people of faith & real republicans.

There were several other answers that I might have chosen but you can only choose 1 & I either chose one that fit my beliefs or put it to a vote.

There is no give & take in answers.yahoo therefore it is very difficult if not impossible to find a common ground in which we can both agree on.

& there is limited # of char so sp & punc R often sacraficed.

I'm an agnostic liberal who would rather make 1 million & pay 500K in taxes than make 50K & pay 12.5K or less in taxes.

It is these things Taxes & what they are paying for & who pays them & what R the priorities of any government
Among many other questions.

Just not enough room here 4 me to

FOR THAT ALL I CAN SAY IS "WE TRIED TO TELL YOU, BUT YOU WOULDN'T LISTEN.". SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO GO AGAINST YOUR EGO, NEOCONS, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN THOUGH YOU THINK YOU ARE.

What was he thinking? There's a reason why Fox viewers think all Democrats are traitors and communists.

With Fox and Right Wing radio, I don't think our democracy has much longer to survive. The parties have to trust each other in order for democracy to work. That's why democracy won't work in Iraq. Fox viewers are so hateful of Democrats, our very democracy is at risk.
