If we start controlling what people make, we are socialist. If we choke down business, don't allow them to run themselves, set rates, and control their product, we are communists.

Big business has a board of directors, who answer to the stock holders. A company like Haliburton, Schlumberger, McDonald's, or walmart, are out to make money. If they don't make money, they go out of business.

If you make $45,000 a year on your j ob, would you complain if you suddenly doubled your income??? Why should a CEO as long as its legal, above board and the board of directors voted it in??

You cant have it both ways in America. We are either a capitalist nation, or communist. I know it sounds rough, and I don't agree that anyone is worth 100 million a year, but, the stock holders apparently think so. The said part is, its not all the Iraq war, because in the oil field, Haliburton is still at the top of the heap and in the Gulf Of Mexico, they stay very busy. The Iraq war is just a small part of the companies income.

There is a limit. Just as soon as we finish kicking the terrorist butts, that will be the limit because the war will be over.

How much should Michael Moore make off his Haliburton, Boring and Exxon stocks? Should their be a limit? How about George Soros? Huh?

Well .. it maybe just business .. but the Federal Govt. that pays Haliburton .. uses our tax dollars. Haliburton has also "lost" 9 billion of our tax dollars somewhere during the war that they can not seem to account for. Yes. It's just business .. business to keep Bush rich. The real question is how many Billions does the Bush family need to feel secure ?? Good Luck ! :)

Obscene profits by those with no bid contracts and ties to the white house is wrong! Especially when the GAO, is not doing any accounting which is required under the constitution!

Haliberton and it's subs have brought contaminated drinking water and food to our servicemen, it has billed for things not done (fraud), but it keeps getting those big contracts!!

The whole business community involved in Iraq should, for the most part, not be allowed to make obscene profits!

it's just business. They are one of the few companies that are large enough and diversified enough to get the job done.
