In the Army we called them Birth Control Devices. I wore a pair through basic training. Within a week of AIT I was back on contacts. Best pair of glasses I have ever owned. Ugly? Yes, but unbreakable.

BCG's = Birth Control Glasses
Simply, the frames are the issue... not the thickness of the lenses... it's the bulky, clunky black nerd frames.
Someone else mentioned that no GUY could get laid with them on... respectfully, but it would take a HECK of a female body to over come those frames...
Oh never mind... all our service members have sufficient bursts of hormones to overcome even BCG's

doesnt suck as much as having to wear the inserts with the PRO-Mask, or goggles, cuz inserts suck, buy prescription lens for wiley-x or just get lasik
but the BCGs with the short hair cut do stand out when you are civies and you have ppl like me laugh at you when at a mall

birth control glasses. they really sucked until i broke my other glasses 2 weeks into a 6 month westpac. then i was glad i had them.
