Venezuela is 100% corrupt. Why do people trust this man? I know Bush is a dope but this little thug is way out of his league making those comments. It was just a overly unintelligent and overly macho poilitical last hurrah. The liberals think that the media is trying to shine a bad light on this man....whattt? The media is liberal as hell! People say well he is just...and was democratically elected ..unlike Bush..give me a break

There is a link on Yahoo that a judge is allowing "light" cigarette smokers to file a lawsuit now.
They CHOSE to smoke. It is not fair.

Why is there no PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY anymore?

Saturday I was this concert in Charlotte and everythign was peaceful. My bf and I left about 15 minutes early before all the trouble started. After we left, cops showed up, saying the bands were violating the law - thtey had a legal permit - but the cops arrested them anyway using brutal force, pointing guns at their heads and using tasers. All this is on film. Cops say they were resisting arrest. And yeah they probably were because they did nothing wrong. They had a right be there and it was all legal. Still, they got arrested anyways.
I'm pissed that left early. I should've got arrested too for the cause. Then again, I don't want anything to stain my record.
Still, the cops were in wrong and a lawsiut is being taken out. One band member was even put in the hospital.

What do you think of all this?

I came to the US age 52 and worked here 5 years , I retired , I'm 59 now . I became I US Citizen in March , 2006 .
I don't get any retirement at all . I don't think it's fair . I worked and payed my taxes . I think I should get something .....I know it couldn`t be much , but still....

Do you think I would win a lawsuit against the makers of Smirnoff? When I was a teenager, I drank WAY too much vodka and got alcohol poisoning.. I was admitted to the hospital and had a huge bill... They told me that drinking was supposto be fun and a good time.. But it wasn't... do you think I would win?

We have two seasons: winter and road repair. I believe our politicians take a lot of campaign money, in return for allowing road builders to give us roads that need big-time maintenance. I suspect the U S taxpayers are getting ripped off, and that the Europeans build much better roads, that require less maintenance. Can anyont tell me what, if anything, is better about the roads in Europe?

My girlfriend and I are currently 17 and she is pregnant. I turn 18 on Friday but she does not until late April. I had read somewhere that after she has the child she will be considered an emancipated minor but the source wasn't too reliable and didn't provide too much information on it. The baby is due for December 19th. Does anyone know the facts about this? We reside in New Hampshire, USA. Thank to anybody who can help shed some light on this.

EVERYONE knows that smoking is bad for you, everyone knows that smoking can kill you, everyone knows the effects of smoking. It's shoved in our faces every day. Unless you live under a rock.. YOU KNOW THAT SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH... why are they allowed to sue?

My husband got layed off last week and when he called the unemployment agency they said they could not send him any money because his company has never filed his wages (he's been working there over a year and they have no record of him at all). My question is - is this legal? And how do we go about getting his wages reported so that we can collect unemployment while he looks for another job? He called his company already and they said they would look into it - but a while ago, we asked them to send us his w2 forms and they never did (despite he called like once a day) so we aren't sure they will even check.
I'm not sure if it matters but he works for a union as an electrician.

Advice would be much appreciated.
