Good point. I like it. It could be you know, that he is being ultra devious, and playing Blair at his own game. There is no doubt, that the Blair government has shifted the middle ground of politics well to the touchy feely left. In order to get elected, Cameron might believe that he has to continue in this mode. If this is the case, it could easily backfire, because traditional Tories wont understand these tactics, and, if the marginal types take Cameron at his word, and he later reneges, then he will incur their wrath. I have always voted Tory, but, if I were to take Cameron literally, then I wouldn't vote for him. Although, I do realise that I am voting for the whole party and their policies, not him personally. We don't have a Presidential system.
