Here's one I read today:

"My son called the District Attorney on one of his Professors because he was SO biased.
The state government got involved and he was stopped. We don't mess around in our family!
This man was VERY hard on my son for not being a liberal."

None of them really scare me. They make me sad that people aren't open to opposing opinions. Everyone has the right to have their own opinion.

I see what Conservatives post about Liberals, but I also see what Liberals post about Conservatives. So that street runs two ways.

They are all just words. Just because someone types them here doesn't make them fact or even acurate. That is what I consider as I read things.

Besides, when someone posts something scathingly hostile, it is usually because they can't argue their point in a civilized, mature manner.

So, you're saying that a state government employee (public university professor) has the right to enforce political orthodoxy upon his students? That he can freely cause harm to a student (by giving him a low grade, by making the classroom into a hostile environment, etc) because the student doesn't agree to goosestep to the professor's political biases?

What should scare you more is that a professor could so disgustingly wield so much power and abuse their classroom by making it a political propaganda lecture hall.

Or are you sympathetic to enforced left-wing indoctrination?

I'm a political conservative and I have read things that have amazed me from both liberals and conservatives on this site. Honestly, I question if the people posting these things really believe them or if they are just doing it for shock value and to get reactions from others.

I have yet to read a post that I found to be scary, at all.

As for the rest of what you said ... Where are the details? Why wasn't it in the news?
