As far as I have been able to find out, enlisted have always worn there Rank insigna on the left arm... Never the Right... All other services have rank on both arms, and some times on end of their dress uniform shirts. Does anyone have any one have information as to How far back that tradition started, and Why only enlisted rank on there left sleeve? Thanks muchly. GG

Chavez qouted Abraham Lincoln, Jesus, and other visionaries today. He is starting a low cost oil program for poor Americans. And offered kind words for America.

Actor Danny Glover, one of my favorites, called him a visionary.

Chavez, has several issues with Bush, like most of the world. And he was correct....Bush is a exalcoholic, and he wouldn't of been President if it wasn't for his Dad.

He only vows to protect his country if attacked..thats not crazy..you attack my home and I will protect myself too. And even if he pursues nukes..is that in and of itself crazy? Israel just bought a 1.3 Billion dollar nuclear submarine and we have enough nukes to kill almost every body. So..is he really crazy...or are your thoughts proof that GOP propaganda works.

Why is it that people feel the need to bad mouth the government and its leaders all the time. Most people have no idea what is really happining in the wars that the USA is involved in around the world besides what the media tells you. I have been to Iraq and Afganistan and can tell you that you dont see any of the good that is done the media only tells you the worst. The fact that you are currently able to sit at the computer you are at and talk about your opinion and not have your family exicuted like what was happining in Iraq before we stoped it. Means that the US policy in place is working. Yes we have to be rough at times but in the words of a wise person. "You sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to do violance on your behalf." The world is not pretty what you see in america is bliss compared to the rest of the world. What I want to see on this post is why you are proad to be an American Libs and Cons alike USE YOUR RIGHT TO SPEACH TO SUPPORT YOUR GOVERNMENT.
