Thousands of civilians are being killed, thousands of dead or injured babies and children, displaced people, and there is not one drop of blood on the news, though at our hands we shed so much of it.
Did our government learn it's lesson with Vietnam? Don't show the blood and guts or else the people start to turn against you?
Aren't you the least bit curious what horrors are unfolding?
and No one talks on the news like say, Ralph Nader,--and the thousands of other intellectual voices of reason against the administration, and about corporate corruption.
Everything on the news is very safe.
As a matter of fact, you don't even hear at all about how many civilians are being killed, it's like they are a nothing.
The only ones that are allowed to speak out on TV are obvious incredulous crack-pots.-- So in turn they can be shot down by Status Quo dick or Harry., and made to look ridiculous so the public will think anything controversial comes from crazy people.

I mean it is not any harm to the country. The oil Hugo Chavez is giving away is for the poor people in the United States to warm their houses up. Why is it that you don't want to accept the oil? Do you think you are the rich and powerful nation who helps other nations but you feel humiliated if somebody tries to help you? I know he talked trash about President Bush but hey the help is still there. This reminds me of a man I used to know who claimed that Mexico didn't have an army and the "non-existing" Mexican Army was then helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

ALL other military services in dress uniform have the 'crease' facing outward, from the waist over the knee then down. Same with shirts. The Navy Presses all their uniforms, with the crease facing inward toward the leg ( also, the in ward crease is on the side of the pants, and there 'Blouses' (shirts) are also pressed in ward along the center of the sleeve line... WHERE AS all other military services have THREE creases runing down the back and TWO in the front... Just one more thing, enlisted personal wear a V neck 'blouse' with a rolled square piece of black material, and with a 'Square know at the V on it. AS FOR 'head covers' - all other military branches, have the 'regular circular top portion of the head cover with a 'bill out in front... BUT the Navy in Dress uniform, other times as well have a sort of heavy white material, formed into some sort of 'object' that would be called a head cover, or in Navy terms, "A white" -- Just interested why the Navy uniform is so different?

Illegal immigrants rarely if ever wash their hands after using the toilet. Additionally, most of them suffer functional illiteracy. They do not practice personal hygiene or health habits most Americans assume as a normal aspect of living.

My bf, got into a fist fight with some other guy. Someone called the cops and both went to jail. My bf is out now and is getting a laywer because he is charged with assault. According to my bf, he is looking at more jail time possibly 3 yrs. Is this true? How long can my bf be in jail for? He has a record from before; He got caught driving with no insurance and expired license and an unpaid ticket from years ago. Anyways, will this affect him now?I just need someone qualified to let me know what could happen to him. Also, his lawyer said that if he can come up with $1,100 the lawyer can garuntee maybe a few weekends in jail but he won't have to be there for a year. Does that sound legit? Seriouse answers please.
