I'm thinkin' that instead of "torturing" the terrorists, we should be negotiating with all the libs on Y!A, as follows: We agree to leave Iraq, if you promise to go there and never come back.

Whaddya' think?

It's unbelieveable how many brainwashed idiots are Yahoo Answers.

Stop reciting party rhetoric and go buy a brain.

It has nothing to do with "Conservative" and "Liberal" It has everything to do with acknowledging what IS and IS NOTworking in this struggle, which most of us watch on TV as it is. Ask our brave soldiers, who are dying daily in an ill-conceived, ill-managed offensive, see what they think. We are creating more of what we are trying to eliminate. Who would have known that would happen? ANYONE WHO HAS PICKED UP A BOOK REGARDING THE HISTORY OF THE MIDDLE EAST!

It's this kind of ridiculous labeling and arrogance that keeps anything from actually being accomplished, and not just at home but it seems to be playing out on a global scale as well.

Can you think of one example where there has been resolution of issues between factions that disagree?

There are really no BLUE and RED states. Just Americans.

Torture doesn't work. Ask John McCain(American Hero I wish would run for president), Are you calling General Colin Powell a liberal? Torture is self defeating and only an imbecile like George Bush wouldn't know that.

By the way I label myself an independant, because my viewpoints are MY OWN. No Party platform is adequate to provide solutions on every issue.

Are we starting to split as a country? really? Don't fight each other, fight those effin bastards who are TRYING TO KILL US.

"..the Germans killed the jews
and the Jews killed the Arabs
and the Arabs killed the hostages
and that is the news.

I heard from the mouth of an Iraqi that the last person you want to trust is an Iraqi. Why the hell would I want to be around a bunch of people that I couldn't trust. Wait, wait, that's how I feel about some white people, and black people and republicans and liberals and in betweens, and gays, and straights, and religious and non. I'm in quite a jam.

So no matter where I go, there will always be people I don't get along with for one reason or another. So I'll just stay here and make myself better for it. Plus I had the balls to actually defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Not just sit on my couch answering Y!A for the first few years of my independence.

And believe me there are domestic enemies in every corner of the country. The one in the white house is easy to spot. You can tell by how he holds the enemies hand every time they visit.

The non violent way would be to get Iran to stop supporting the insurgents that are coming over the border. If we leave, that country will become a powder keg of violence. We are protecting the people of Iraq again the insurgency. Now the civil war will create a new set of challenges. Some how they need to get their little warring factions to understand that Iraq is much stronger together than divided.

Before Saddam Iraq was kind of a violent place and he had a lot of luck and skill into making it into what is was before BUSH. But to answer your question, no. We have to do what we did in Vietnam. It took time but Vietnam is now far less violent than America. Maybe if Saddam had a blank check from the USA he could speed things up with far less bloodshed than a cut and run policy like we did in Vietnam. I for one don't think humpty dumpty can ever be put back together again.

Excellent, of course! NOW members do look best in berkas. This would reduce America's output of polluting exhaust gases. The liberals could then ride environmentally friendly camels! Alas, there would be no gay bars or abortion clinics, but they would learn the consequences of political correctness!

Well I think that is the most selfish, ridiculous thing I have ever heard.... you say "serious only, please"...Honest to God... Are you going to walk up to people and say "Hey are you from Iraq?" .Then say... "By the way are you a terrorist? You might want to check out Y!A for my brilliant solution to the end of torturing terrorists!"
