Hey Footy Love,
Same thing happened here in the States. Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin swore they would leave the U.S. if Bush won. Did they? Of course not!

Remember Frank Bruno being spread across the papers telling us he would booger off - but he never did...he would have made bundles of dinero on the Costa Del Sol! Some oik in the Guardian (I think it was) wrote a letter wondering if Mr. Bruno had thought about the Labour party enough to declare his tarrahs, or decided to go along with a mate who was winding him up, ending with the fact that the government who was in power at the time didn't have a great deal of time for people his colour (and mine for that matter) for many decades.
He never did magnify his concerns, if I remember.
Was surprised Streisand even thought of leaving the States...Jewish folk indeed possess a power of their own in the US - it wouldn't matter a jot to them as they have developed a political strength of their own.

I never voted for them, but my heart sunk to the soles of my boots when they were voted in a second time. This, however, was because of the Scottish vote; more people in England voted for the Conservative Party (Tories) rather than the Socialist Party.
Many people in traditional working class areas can't stop themselves voting 'Labour' because they have an emotional/loyalty thing going on in their heads. They would vote for a donkey if it was called labour. What they have failed to realise is that they have voted for a totalitarian left wing regime, hell bent on handing the country over to the EU.

No but I wish I had. I think loads of people have left Britain and are continuing to leave because it is sinking rapidly. The Labour party are slowly but surely destroying Britain.

I think Jim Davidson and Cilla Black said they were going ,unfortunately last time I looked they were both still here.
Ignore the opinion polls,Labour will still have a working majority
in 2009.

I'm fairly sure that Frank Bruno and Andrew Lloyd-Webber said that they would leave the country as well.
Never did of course.

Probably not - most decent folks in Britain hope and pray that the New McLabour carpetbaggers will get their just reward eventually - the boot - and perhaps - just perhaps things will get better.
