What party has hurt the most American people in the last Century , and how did they?

Both parties have hurt the American people over the last century. They have hurt us by not wanting to work together for the good of the people but they rather vote alone part lines on issues that come to a vote.

Democrats

Economically they gave America the closest thing it had to socialism and a system of bureucratic entitlement (Democrats in Congress 1960 - 1994) and Militarily as well. They waged war in Korea 1950-1953 and Vietnam 1958-1975 resulting in one uneasy truce and a withdrawal, Carter slept through th birth of Islamic funadmentalism in Iran (late 1970s) and his perceived weakness emboldened the Soviets to invade Afghanistan which led the long war which saw the birth of the Mojahadeen and the Taliban and today's terror troubles, which started in 1993 with the original World Trade Center blast.

In the 1990s then CIA Director Louis Frey tried to get the White House to take Islamic terror seriouslt\y but Democrat President Bill Clinton was too busy "Feeling our Pain" trying to introduce socialized medicine thru wife Hilary (1993-1994), fighting with Congress when under new management they wanted to clean up Washington's books (1995) and engaging in "extra curricular activities" with a plump but cute kid from California! Leaving the terrorists to their own devices as Clinton did in the 1990s led to "You Guessed it ..." 9/11!

the media. the press is often considered an unofficial fourth branch of the federal government that keeps the official branches competent. how do you know if the president is doing a good job? you rely on the media to go find out how his programs work and if he tells the truth because most of us don't have that level of access.

i'd say the press over the last 20 or so years has gotten weirdly complacent. their stories are not generally hardhitting, incisive exposes of government activities... but they certainly enjoy a good scandal! part of this i think is due to the consolidation of media we've seen, that means each channel and radio station and paper over the entire country is coming from one of five spigots. and those spigots are interested in money, not truth.

The Republican party has hot done one thing for the American working man, since it was established.I challenge anyone to come up with one thing they have passed[law or bill for the good of the working man. I mean good ,helpful things.They HATE the poor,if it were not for the DEM~S there would be no poor people to take care of in the U.S.A.
