Yes, but why would you want to?

If you do revoke your citizenship, it's very hard to get it back if you ever need to.

If you mean REnounce, that is relinquish your citiznehsip,

Go to an American Embassy or Consulate outside the US and make a declaration in front of a US Foreign Service officer.

Be careful, if you don't hold citizenship in a foreign country, you'll be effectively stateless, like that poor guy trapped at a French Airport for years because he couldn't be issued a passport since he wasn't a citizen of any country.

Contact the United States State Department, then pack your bags. Have you given any thought as to where you will go? Once you give up your US Passport, how do you plan on traveling? I am going to make a guess that you have never travelled outside the U.S. Am I right?

Feel better now? Hope France will take better care of you.

Go to the US State Department and fill out the necessary paper work and they'll be glad to send you on your way and you will not be able to return to this country.

Unless you are filthy rich you are crazy. If you don't like it here, get on to every give away program the law allows. Food stamps are easy but SSI takes a little doing but once the checks start coming in, it's welfare wonderland.
