He only vows to protect his country if attacked..thats not crazy..you attack my home and I will protect myself too. And even if he pursues nukes..is that in and of itself crazy? Israel just bought a 1.3 Billion dollar nuclear submarine and we have enough nukes to kill almost every body. So..is he really crazy...or are your thoughts proof that GOP propaganda works.

Wanting a nuke is not what makes the Iranian president crazy. Believing that HE has a mission to usher in the Imman by creating the Apocalypse on earth...that is what is crazy about him. Letting such a nut job have a nuke would make US crazy. The difference between the Iranian president having a nuke and other dictators (say North Korea for instance) is that the other guys want to live and enjoy the fruits of their power. Ahkmenajad doesn't care about that. He is a radical fundamentalist and is looking for his reward in the afterlife. To get there he has to destroy the world.

Ahmedinejad seems to me a lot saner than Bush.

I have no sympathy for the mullah regime in Iran, but when he spoke in the UN it I had to admire the clarity and power of his speech.

I don't know whether he lied about his country's plans concerning nuclear weapons, but even id he did, it would only be reasonable from his point of view to drive a weapons programme as fast as possible, considering the threat against his country, both from Israel and from the US.

I can't understand that people refuse to trust their own senses more than what they are told by what they must know are people with an agenda.

He is crazy alright. He was one of the former students that embarrassed Jimmy "Mr Peanut" Carter in 1979. You need to treat him like Ronald Regan did, scare him. He will fold like he did 26 years ago.

The President of Iran is inciting others to do the works that he would be condemned in the Arab world for doing directly.

That is why he is such a huge factor in the terrorism. The fact that he wants nuclear power only exacerbates it.

to Nani, if i were a student in Iran and someone asked Me if i thought Dubya was crazy, I'd say hell yeah. Does one opinion create a fact?

He is seen as crazy because that is what the pundits tell their viewers to believe. No proof.

The Ayatullah is the actual supreme leader in Iran anyway.

It is a known fact that Iran supports Hezbollah. They attack Israel frequently. You assume that this guy is being honest. You are a liberal wacko. Get a clue. Iran is our enemy. How about you move there? You can learn first hand about oppression.

No he is not crazy. He understand the Jews are secretly trying to take over the world. The only way to stop this is by exterminating the filth. This may seem harsh but in the end let it be known the only good Jews are dead Jews.

Ummm... So the Jewish Holocaust didn't exist? I'd call that a little nuts.

Also I heard him say in his speech at the UN that he, to paraphrase has nothing against Israel but also called for Israel to wiped off the map. Hmmm...

I am glad to see the Iranians stand up and speak on the behalf of their president. Sorry to tell you this but he is as flaky as a box of corn flakes. You want to pet a rabid dog go ahead, I will keep my distance. Try reading a little Iran news. It is on the net. Do you think he is sane for hanging a sixteen year old girl for crimes against chastity.
