The Bush Administration is trying to re-write the G Convention to allow some forms of torture. I think this would only serve to danger our own POW's. This law has been in effect for years. Should we lower ourselves to this level?

Will the second mortgage holders come after you or be able to put something (other than a foreclosure) on your credit like a judgement? Would they be ale to garnish wages or do anything crazy like that in the future? The reason for two loans was a first and second (100% loan) was used to purchase the home. The value dropped and the foreclosure auction will only be enough to cover the first mortgage and part of the second. If you could site any websites that show these types of laws it would be appreciated. Thanks.

When we have 14000 people secretly detained in CIA prisons, undergoing torture and held on the basis on evidence they are not permitted to see, ... How similar are we to the Star Chanber or the Inquisition are we becoming? You know some of them are totally innocennt .

The Australian embassy has held my passport for 6 weeks after refusing a visa to confirm the authenticity of the passport despite receiving information from my Country to prove it is authentic. At my request they gave passport to Malaysian Immigration Dept. They wrote a report saying they believed I was making passports, that my passport is not genuine, that it had been tampered with. Although they have now proved the woman in the embassy to be incorrect I have still not got my passport back - now 3 months. She also took my father's passport and will not tell us where it is. I am Liberian and my country has been at war for 14 years - passports are produced by hand. I have been imprisoned in a foreign country due to her actions and my sick father is also imprisoned. It is not possible to get a new passport in Liberia at this time.

I am not pro or anti Bush because I like to stay neutral but everyday I am inundated with messages from anti Bush people.I am all for freedom of speech but is this the right thing to do? I constantly hear negative things about him on the news,computer, and in social atmospheres. Here is my question (s)..When "we"(Americans) talk negatively about our President doesn't that give our enemies the upper hand? I mean they (enemies) hate us and think we are idiots and it seems like we are helping promote this idea if we constantly spread hate about our own president? My other concern is that we try to teach children to have respect for others so what kind of example are we setting by bashing and disrespecting our own president? Whether he is right or wrong, shouldn't we respect him and his position? Please, if I am wrong, set me straight.

When Iranian President Ahmedinejad made a speech to the UN General Assembly today, the US diplomats made a point of leaving the room and not listening to his speech.

Do you think this was sensible? Shouldn't they have at least been diplomatic enough to listen to what he had to say?

You hope you get heard today. I don't know why, you can't back up a word you say. You spend money like you tell lies. More than you know, oops pow suprise. I'm sure the people now dead in IRAQ. More than equal those that died in the 9/11 attack. Freedom is obtained through letting go. Something you can't do,the smart ones are betting no. You cover your trail. Make American progress move like a snail. What for, fail machine or let's ban fun. Truth is all you do is tuck your tail between your legs and run. This country into the ground. Your money is all that makes sense. Untill it comes crashing down. It's funny you can be that dense. Democratic founded and lost along the way. Automatic and grounded the cost strong so we pay. The broke are sucked dry. You worship oil like others get high. Do you want regression. Are you afraid of progresion. Do the Democrats need to teach you a lesson. I think yous slightly impaired. You try to kill the problems first because yous scared. Ask who cared.

I have voted either Libertarian or Greens for some time now. I am not a Republican but I respect them much more than the Democratic party. At least they have an agenda and stick to it.
