I've voted third party too. I voted for John Anderson and Ross Pirot twice.

Democrats aren't as unified, so they tend to each have their own agenda. But in most cases their agendas are logical and workable. Unlike the Libertarian and Green party agendas which consist of capturing 2% of the vote every four years. Good Job!

Gee, sorry to hear you've been ill.
I don't believe the democrats are wimpy. They're the minority now, and have to play it smart to have any say at all. I believe they do a better job of representing me than the republicans! It wasn't the democrats that shot down the minimum wage increase proposal- the republicans planned it that way. Read up.

The Democrat party is dominated by Leftists who are hostile to the principles of America. They will tend to take actions that favor Leftist-run nations like China, Venezuela or Cuba while weakening America internally and on the global stage.
They are not wimpy, they are conniving. Think "Grima Wormtongue" from Lord of the Rings.
I personally attended Cindy Sheehan's visit to my home town, where she was accompanied by our prominent Democrat leaders, as she explained the agenda to eliminate the US military by discouraging young Americans from enlisting. The goal, she said, was to give Hugo Chavez dominance.
I'm not kidding. I have it on video tape.
Democrats were infuriated by the removal of Saddam Hussein because he was the Socialist strongman in the Middle East. This is why they try to drive down the US morale and support for that conflict - trying to create another defeat for the US as they achieved when we fought the Leftist Vietcong in the '60s.
Who is crushing America's 'Freedom of Religious Expression'? Leftists. 'Right to Keep and Bear Arms'? Leftists. Ability to fight enemies within as recommended by the 9/11 Commission? Leftists. Ownership of private property? Leftists.
You asked - them's the facts.

Democrats want power simply for the sake of having power... so the are wishy-washy on any issue depending on who they talk to. Republicans actually care about the country and aren't afraid to show their conviction.

they do have an agenda... I've heard them speak on national security, the war on terror, health care, improving education and much more?
maybe you should pay attention?
Republicans seem to make snap decisions based on opinion and shaky information and then won't back down on them, even if they are proven to be wrong?
so that's a better way to do things? waste billions in tax payer dollars over pride?

Mathematically, any vote solid for a dropping candidate is considered "wasted," because he ought to have misplaced merely as well with out you. So, once you're fairly confident that your third party candidate will lose, then your vote changed into wasted, in that appreciate. even with the indisputable fact that, it truly is nonetheless sensible to vote for a third party candidate on the concept that (a million) hostile to all odds, he may win. Surprises do ensue -- e.g., look at Ventura in Minnesota -- and (2) your vote may actually help to strengthen information about the third party, and may lead on to larger achievements interior the destiny.
