there no ultimate litmus test for good and evil? Can torture be justified under any means? Can one be a Christian and condone torture? Is the Geneva Convention just a quaint outmoded ideal? I think we are losing our soul in trying to win the battle. A battle taken litterally, against a concept. Have we created more terror?

All you need to do is read the first and second paragraphs of the pope's speech, and you will know that what he said was uncalled for and divisive. Basically, he is weighing Islam's so-called "evil" against the "goodness" of the Catholic religion.

I detest the violent reaction of some Muslims, but I think that the pope was out of line. Please read the paragraphs and tell me what you think?

Hi there,
I have a question about my rights:
What rights do I really have when I get stopped by a police officer for any reason?
I am asking, cause you always hear people say: "I know my rights, man!" So, I am wondering what are those RIGHTS?

thank you

If anyone in this business can help me that would be great. Detail would be plus, because I am also trying to get into this. I am looking to take my LSATS soon, and want as much information (ie. the name of the company you work for and the parties you deal with) for example my friend talked to a lawyer who represented Wells Fargo Bank. And he stated all he does, who he represents and the what he does day in and day out.

If you all you lawyers out there or anyone with knowledge can help me that would be great!!!!

Thanks again!

After a question removed by the boyos of Yahoo how about a Wikipedia quote "United States - The US Army 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D (A)), commonly, but mistakenly referred to as Delta Force, was based on the SAS. Its founder, "Chargin'" Charlie Beckwith, having served on exchange with the SAS in the early 1960s, caught the "SAS bug" and, recognising a void in the US Army, devoted a large part of the remainder of his career to the raising and establishment of a US Special Forces unit modelled on the SAS. Operational Detachment-Delta is a late addition to the Special Forces, whose main purpose is to lead locally recruited troops in a manner pioneered by the Jedburghs teams of WW2, a joint British-American effort which worked with the French, Dutch and Belgian resistance." So you woosey Yanks who complained last time---eat my dirt. The UK - SAS is best. US Delta - phaaw, USMC - get out of her you lady boys.

As "honest and good" as we all collectively can make it, meaning non-violently trying as hard as we can to make it conduct itself and run in all areas of it the most truthfully, ethically, morally, effectivlely, justly, intelligently, openly and transperently as we can. I really wonder how much better we could make the world if we were all really trying as hard as we could to make sure our government was truely the most good and honest we could make it.

They appear to be wimpy and moderate. It seems fishy. It seems like someone wimpy and moderate like Gore or Kerry started up this organization. They are always emailing me with their weak messages and telling me to take part in some vigil. Bunch of chodes. I vote third party. Greens, Libertarian, Socialist, etc. Parties that actually have some backbone. Lieberman is a wimp. Oh, I forgot, he was even too weak for the Democrats. Snap!

Seems like we need all the people we can get into the military these days. Plus it seems to go against the constitution "all men are created equal". If all men are equal then shouldn't all men have the right to serve their country? I am not gay and I have never served in the military. I don't see why they should not be allowed but I am open to hearing any educated logical reasons why they should not be allowed. Please no homophobic rants or slander.

People go into stores and expect to be waited on while they are talking, or talk in theaters. Most people on cell phones are also very loud so that others have difficulty carrying on conversations. What is it about these phones that makes people so inconsiderate?

AND NO! THE DEMOCRATS LOVE FREEDOM AND AMERICA. WE LOVE AND TREASURE OUR LIBERTIES. I know most republicans will come and say" Democrats Hate America"

But........

The Democrats PROTECT your right to Post such garbage. Democrats protect your right to speak your mind and to challenge a corrupt government

Democrats PROTECT your right to talk politics and not have to worry about secret Police knocking down your door.

Democrats protect a womans right to chose what she wants to do with HER OWN BODY. ( Republicans want body and mind control)

Democrats PROTECT the unfortunate people that are poor ( Republicans dont even though christinianty promotes helping the needy)

Democrats will and always will protect your rights under our liberal constitution. No matter how extreme and Anti American you are and how much you support the terrorists, DEMOCRATS will preserve that very freedom that you constantly take for granted
