The first time that I sent my hubby a package in Iraq, it took about 6 days.. Now, I am sending him one every week, and it is taking about 8-10 days. They get there pretty fast suprisingly!! And I live in California.

My nephew served 2 tours in Iraq. Whether your sending it to an APO address or FPO address, I found it usually took about 2 weeks. Please remember, do not send pornography, alchohol or weapons of any kind. There could be a big problem with those.

Snacks, canned food, clothing or photos, dvds, cds and that sort of stuff is acceptable.

I sent a package off before and it took about 2 weeks. They have to verify the address, your address you are sending it from and the contens of the package.

i send my bf letters and packages. the letters take about a week and the packages take about a week and a half. it depends on how often they get mail in there location.dont try to send it next day air or priority cause it will not get there quicker.

go to the post office and get a flat rate box you can send as much in it as you can put and it only cost $8.10. And because it;s priority mail the post office said it would take about 7 days or so to get there. now how soon they get it to him depends on where he's at. if he;s in the field they wait until he comes back in. at least that's how it was in VA.
