If anyone in this business can help me that would be great. Detail would be plus, because I am also trying to get into this. I am looking to take my LSATS soon, and want as much information (ie. the name of the company you work for and the parties you deal with) for example my friend talked to a lawyer who represented Wells Fargo Bank. And he stated all he does, who he represents and the what he does day in and day out.

If you all you lawyers out there or anyone with knowledge can help me that would be great!!!!

Thanks again!

Right now I am clerking for the chief counsel at an indian casino. I research the laws specific to indian gaming, which are legion, and then apply those laws to the compact that exists between the indians and the state, then write an opinion. I do that, and I also participate in the criminal background investigations on the people who apply for jobs at the casino, and in the process that decides whether applicants receive gaming licenses or not. I also research the questions that arise in keeping the casino in compliance with federal and state laws concerning the environment, labor laws, and whatever else comes up.

I was the chief legal officer in the internet compliance department of one company I worked for (Juvio.com), for several years.

My primary responsibilities were maintaining the Anti-Spam policies, handling spam complaints, and investigating sales associates who violated those policies. I also tracked our trademark and copyright registrations, maintained and edited corporate policies under the supervision of our chief corporate counsel, and acted as liason with many of the internet marketing associations that were involved either with our company or to which our associates belonged.
