You claim that the President and his handlers have told you the truth. You refuse to consider the information we show you that punches huge holes into the official version. You refuse to check out the information for yourself. You tell us what we have uncovered is false. Okay, we’ll buy that, we’ll concede that you’re right...and that all of us are wrong.

In fact, we’ll take it all back and admit the errors of our ways IF you do something first. Show us YOUR proof. Tell us why we should believe the story you have swallowed, and show us what you have to back up your claims! You’d better have something more than a borrowed smirk when you tell us we’re way out in left field. You better be ready to answer just one simple question:

Where the Hell is YOUR proof, true believers? Where the Hell is it?

Where the HELL is YOUR proof that Al Qaeda actually planned and carried out the attacks of 9/11?

For purposes of liability, are they considered agents of my company? We use volunteers in positions that involve potentially hazardous travel arranged by us. To protect the company in case someone has an accident and sues us, we're not sure whether to purchase travel agents liability insurance or some other kind.

When I approach my husband with my feelings about something he will ask me my REASONS for feeling the way I do. But after I tell him why I feel the way I do he will analyse each reason saying this reason is not logical, that reason was four days ago and does not count, etc...if I give him 5 reasons he may or may not give me credit for them and this is what determines wether or not he will validate my feelings or comfort me. It seems like my reasons for my feelings must be validated through him first before he will give comfort....He told me this is how the REAL world works and acts, is he right? Why does he treat me like this? What kind of mind is this???

I believe that rank-and-file Democrats are just as loyal and just as patriotic as anyone else in our country, but take a closer look at the "leadership" of the Democratic party in Washington DC... Some of the most liberal, most lunatic fringe radical Left wing politicians in the Universe have hijacked the Democratic party from the mainstream rank and file, and are trying to use it for their own political and personal agendas.

If the rank-and-file Democrats don't take control of their party and get back to the principles the Democratic party was founded on, then it may be too late to save them.

"To provide for the common defense by requiring that all young persons in the United State, including women, perform a period of military service OR a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, and for other purposes."

FORM OF NATIONAL SERVICE.
(1) as a member of an active or reverse component of the uniformed services;
(2) in a civilian capacity that, as determined by
the President, promotes the national defense, including national or community service and homeland security.

OBLIGATION FOR YOUNG PERSONS.
It is the obligation of every citizen of the United States, and every
other person residing in the United States, who is between
the ages of 18 and 42 to perform a period of national
service.

Aside from the Air Force Our military is stretched dangerously thin. With members of the Army and Marines working on second and third full tours in Iraq.
Something drastic needs to be done to bolster their numbers.

Has the GOP's IQ risen?

WASHINGTON - President Bush fought back Friday against a Republican revolt in the Senate over tough anti-terror legislation and rejected warnings that the United States had lost the high moral ground to adversaries. "It's flawed logic," he snapped.

Colin Powell says so...

2006-09-15 10:15:15 · 29 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics

One can read the speech here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/15_09_06_pope.pdf
A serous intellectual trying to engage the minds of the world about serious questions of faith and reason and history of Islam and of christianity. He is trying to do good and he is trying to do his job, which is to speak about man and God and man and his soul and asking the faiths to dialog.
In doing so the Moslem world blows up.

The Pope quotes from a letter between Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos II and a Persian scholar written in 1391 asking for Dialog and stopping Jihad and death to convert people to islam. This is considered an insult to Islam.
By the way that Pope died at the hands of Jihad, His Church turned into a Mosque, his people killed, enslaved, forced to pray to Allah, and his Empire turned into the Turkish Empire.

What do you think?

Extra credit: Name the Christian born Sex Slave girl that brought the beginning of the fall of the Turkish Empire.

Saying that just because a person "thinks" about having sex with an innocent child, doesn't make them a pedophile,
is like saying, just because he robbed a bank, doesn't mean he's a bank robber. YES he is.

I know that the war in Iraq is unclear and unpopular. I would like to know what you think should have been done rather than go to war. We already know that Saddam had WMD's in 1998 (Clinton read a list of them to the country : ), and that resolutions were ignored. The inspectors found no weapons or remnants of destroyed weapons; and Saddams declaration did not say where they went. What would your response be?

I'm talking about this news article, "Fury over Pope's remarks raises concerns."
I mean why bother about Muslim people protesting? Isn't dissent the purest form of democracy?

http://news.yahoo.com/fc/world/papacy_and_the_vatican

"ISTANBUL, Turkey - Pakistan's legislature unanimously condemned Pope Benedict XVI. Lebanon's top Shiite cleric demanded an apology. And in Turkey, the ruling party likened the pontiff to Hitler and Mussolini and accused him of reviving the mentality of the Crusades. Across the Islamic world Friday, Benedict's remarks on Islam and jihad in a speech in Germany unleashed a torrent of rage that many fear could burst into violent protests like those that followed publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad."
