We all ready know if some thing is not done right away,with global warming all the low lying areas will be flooded including almost half of Florida and Newyork.This oil from Middle east will realy create more problems than it will solve.

There is a lot of desert i south west United states,Chile,Mexico,You do not have to go to Middle East.

BTW, Why do you need desert to set up hydrogen plants?

If themiddleeast really cared about anything but oil revenue, they would have all ready set up solar and wind power generators throughout the area. it is after all, desert and mountains, both areas good for solar and wind generation of electricity
