Anyone else out there totally and completely fed up with all the whining puling partisan pinhead political hacks who are making a hash of our government and dragging the whole country down with their free-for-all? I say: Vote all the greedy stupid incompetent morons out of office every election. I doubt the outs could eff it up any more that than the ins are doing. And, a major upheaval every 2-4 years would help limit some of the damage they could do. What say you?

I am curious as to what others think about this subject. If the war had ended differently, and the South had won, what would life be like in the US today? Any ideas?

I believe he is destroying the most important values of his Country, in the name of a war he has invented. Balance of powers, due process, rule of law, human rights, etc... he thinks that because he is a "war president" he can do so? why does the Congress support him? I understand they are in election period, but i cannot believe that a political party is ready to undermine all what US means, in terms of democracy and constitutionalism?
Is there a way to stop him?
How?
By the way, he is putting the american citizens also in danger, above all the soldiers. The law that they avoid will be avoided also for them. There will be no rights, no trials.. denying the Geneva Convention brings more disadvantages to american people, than to "terrorists".....

This is not a partisan question so please...no need for Bush bashing which doesn't address the question. We are allowing politicians to leak sensitive information for political purposes and NOT putting them in jail...the ACLU is fighting for the "constitutional" rights of FOREIGN enemy combatants...the NY Times publishes "secret" information WITH IMPUNITY that jeopardizes the lives of our military and citizens and the effectiveness of our programs that have for 5 years thwarted numerous attempts at another 9/11. Congress is concerned how we interrogate enemy prisoners for information to protect America or how comfortable they are in prison. Has America lost its heart and resolve? What can we do?

Recently my son was arrested for 2 grams of cocaine and a scale and when the vehicle was searched 35 grams was found under the passenger seat. There was a guy who was 'networking' for the police who my son states had to have put this under the seat as he only had $100 to purchase the 2 grams. This is the first time in my son's life he has ever been arrested for anything like this. My son swears that he is being framed for the 35 grams and that all he had was the 2 grams and the scale. What can be done? Also, can his vehicle that is impounded be released to his wife upon payment or does the law enforcement get to 'keep' his vehicle?

George Clooney has often publicly voiced his opposition to US foreign policy regarding Iraq. He has also stated that the United States in incapable of winning any war. Currently, he is lobbying for the US to take action in Dafur to stop genocide. I agree with the position that the US as the world's lone superpower should act against injustice where we find it, but in the case of Mr. Clooney and other of the same ilk, this sound like, don't take action unless it is somewhere I approve of. Is it hypocrisy to advocate liberating one country and it's people while speaking out against the same action regarding another?

Every political party in Britain that has served three or four consecutive terms of office in government, have ended up being in opposition for a generation, at least. The Liberals ended up being a major opposition party for over 100 years, after their four terms of consecutive government.
New Labour is on it's last legs. My questions are:

1.how long will it be be before we see another Labour Government
in Britain. or
2. Do you think there will never again be a Labour Government?

In geographical terms, Britain has the windiest coastal waters in Europe, and yet comes way down the rankings when it comes to producing wind-generated electricity.

What reasons are given for the UK's lack of investment and development of off-shore Wind Farms?

Corporal punishment is the deliberate infliction of pain intended to correct behavior or to punish. Do you think it should be brought back? I think it would help with alot of the problems with todays youngsters in the UK, but I do think it would be hard to regulate and some power crazed people would take it too far. What do you think?

refused to sign up to the Kyoto agreement. Is to deflect the issues of Iraq or is it because of the mid term elections. Either way it seems like a PR stunt by the American Government.

He was arrested and faces going back. Mexican authorities want him because bounty hunting is a crime in Mexico ( Funny, nothing else seems to be).

I for one would say no, do not send him back. He was there getting a serial rapist who was a American citizen on the run.

Screw Mexico.

What do you think?
